This weekend I'm headed to Yuma which will have the USAF F-35A and Marine F-35B demos and neither can hold a candle to the Aussie display.

great video, nicely done. You can tell the F35 doesn't have the nose authority of the Hornet when it does the square loop. A fantastic display by our awesome RAAF!
Crazy that the f135 engine puts out as much power as both engines in the super hornet! Once they are upgraded in a few years they will put out close to 50 thousand pounds of thrust...

I was there, they were awesome. They remind me of Kylo Rens lightsaber, they have a more evil sound than the F18's.

Mate, no one would get near it.
It is amusing how people see fast jets perform at airshows and think that they perform the same way when deployed.
A lot of manoevers performed at airshow would be replicated in combat. For example high g turns, vertical climbs and barrel rolls could be used during dogfights. The only difference between an airshow and combat, is the pilot's sense of fear.
