    I think it's awesome that Shawn left at this moment and didn't hang on to long like Ric Flair, Hogan, and all these other guys are trying to do. He is my favorite wrestler of all time. Have a happy retirement Shawn, it's well deserved.

    I'm proud of Shawn Michaels. I used to hate him, but these days, he seems like a real stand up guy. He is living proof that people can and do change. Not often, but it does happen.

    I missed so much of his career. I was a really dedicated fan from 1997 to 2004, so I essentially missed almost all of his career and have to watch it back in retrospect now. But I did get to be a kid during his greatest run (that '97-98 run). Still, it's kind of a bummer that with HBK as my favorite wrestler, I didn't get to watch things like Michaels vs Angle or Michaels vs Taker live on PPV

    I don't care what list...he's the number 1, dead or alive. The best of all time. Hands down. Everyone says Ric Flair, but HBK, is a million times better...and I think even Flair would admit it. HBK...best wrestler ever....2nd to none.

    • @EXPLISITemcee
      @EXPLISITemcee 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      that is your opinion..not fact..hands down seems like you want it to be reality.. he is one of the best..leave it at that...lets stick to reality!

      Esp not Ric Flair.
      Loathed that unspectacular old granny from the moment I saw him in 1991.
      Even as a kid it was ridiculous he always wearing No 1 belt or was up for it. And seeing himself like me was a handsome hunk like Shawn Michaels, Marty Jannetty, Lex Luger... heck even Rick Martel, Tatanka or Warrior. His pervert aura creeped me totally out as little girl. No surprise he was an exhibitionist on flights and God knows else.
      I am most proud for Shawn that he never ever had any sexual misconduct allegations against him; heck having 4 rather steady relationships his whole life. Who would have guessed back then in 90s?!
      The only thing I can't stand about this man that he is hunting for 'sport' and 'fun'! All else I applauded since 1992 on the highest level!

    That’s a great point about the wwe and the fans making the final say, however the man controlled the narrative in the ring! And that’s what matters. It’s where Shawn took control! In closing that story about him nodding out with his son is some touching, man up shit 🤯 great on him!

    freshest comment here...2019..oct... HBK is one of the best but the GOAT debate is hard to settle.....everyone is a fan on that topic and can't play the neutral-unbiased broadcaster when it comes to the GOAT Wrestler debate...

  • @DUBtheTIGER
    @DUBtheTIGER 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yeah but I missed all the good stuff. I did get to see that amazing Summerslam return match, and I've never marked out harder, or thrown anything at my TV harder lol. But it was actually the fact that he KEPT jobbing to HHH, Smackdown was losing momentum, and a lot of other changes. Like, I know I'll get so much crap for this, but I loved 2000-2004 Edge way more than Rated R Edge. When they turned that Hardy angle into a storyline to get Edge over, I'd had enough of seeing HBK job out to HHH lol

    Just want to say this, Wrestling with Rosenburg and BeneathTheMatt are my two favorite wrestling interview sources. I'm sorry to fans of TalkWrestling but the people there are a little chris hardwicky, they act and joke too much and it takes away from the person being interviewed and puts the attention on him half the time and the wrestler the other 50. Thats not how an interview should be. That being said, great interview with shawn, keep 'em up man

    No, WM 26 was a perfect end to HBK's career and WM 28 was a perfect end to the career of the Undertaker, if he decides not to wrestle anymore and just leave with 20-0 at WM it would be great.
    Considering HBK never lost to Taker until WM 25, it would just not be fair his last match to be with a guy who Taker himself couldn't beat for 18 years. Then HBK would turn out to be the phenomenon of the WWE and it's just not right.

    What does one have to do with the other? Animal sacrifice is present in nearly every religion. Add in the fact that he is hunting for food, how is killing your own dinner any worse than buying chop meat at your local grocer?

      No one is born perfect. By no coincidence as I didn't follow his life in the 2000s anymore I became after 30 yrs a vegetarian looking really into the topic mass farming!
      If you couldn't take a young animals life why should I pay a heartless asshole to do it for me?!
      We are designed to eat 95% plant based while nowadays ego greed turned it around! It's not even healthy for yourself!
      I do give props that hunting in woods is not nearly as traumatic as any given farm animal has to suffer through but still if I can't kill sweet innocent Bambi, then I have no rights to pay cheap money! What is your life's worth?!?? And why would everyone get on a hysterical demo, if real bad ppl like rapists were up to be shot for harvesting meat. Which would be way more objective fair alone by the sheer overpopulation numbers. Animals never hurt me, ppl do all the time!
