I'd probably choose the S6 Lite. The S pen and slightly smaller proportions are appealing.

@@charlieannmarshall53 Its actually as a gift for my wife. She already has the Samsung Tab S6 Lite but the older version with the Exynos processor. I was looking to give her an upgrade but nothing too expensive because she mainly just watches Netflix/TH-cam on it. I will go with the A9+ because it offers a slightly better processor and larger screen (which she actually wants) and its a newer Tablet (probably gonna get more support). Thanks to this video and channel for helping me choose! This guy is awesome!
My son had the S6 lite, then upgraded to tab s8 ultra, was to big, now he likes the A9 plus, perfect size and enough for what he does
The performance between these two models is similar by much. If the S pen is crucial, then the S6 Lite is the only choice. Otherwise, the A9+ is better as it is a newer model and is expected to have longer support from Samsung.

The S6 lite has a higher pixel density of 224 compared to th A9+ 207. My tab A6 from 2016 has a ppi of 224 so the budget tabs are going backwards in the screen departmwnt. For me i want a better looking screen so do you think i really should jump upto the Tab S9fe or consider another brand of tablet as i am not somebody who wants or needs the s pen. Thanks

I love the videos you're doing on the Tab A9 and A9+, watched them all. I plan on getting the A9+ at some point. There aren't many reviews on them so I thank you for doing them. Do you know when the keyboard for the A9+ is coming out or any information on it?

@@FishBeeProductions I think it may be country dependent, I live in the UK and on the Samsung announcement they didn't mention it on the page with the accessories but mentioned the regular cover; they did mention it on the US announcement however.

I am looking for a tablet mostly to consume content (music, movies/series), draw/take notes, read PDFs and EPUBs, install apps and the occasional game from the Play Store, etc. Would a 4GB RAM tablet like the S6 Lite be enough or should I look for a 6 or 8GB one? Any models or brands you recommend?
S6 lite might work but I'd look for the tab S9 FE or S8
also the higher refresh rate on the a9+ will wear down the battery life faster.

Bought my 6 128 gig in 2020, mostly use it for utube,watching and creating videos, only use the s pen and dex occasionally , happy with the size and screen resolution . Starting to get some screen burn through? Got it to replace my old tab4. Hopefully ill get a few more years out of it.😊

@@ultramarinebluu254 the cheapest that cando that would be the S7 FE, but it is likely you will only be able to get one which includes knock off s-pen and charger with it so take it into consideration
not on samsung but xiomi pad 6 supports hdmi connection upto 4k and offers way better features,

S6 lite is better for drawing, if you need more power i'd look at the galaxy tab s8 which will be cheaper than tab s9 series
At Amazon 64gb S6 Lite is $200. The 128gb model is $220.
Im glad I took the A9+, being bigger, but its sad it doesnt have the S-pen. For me locally the A9+ is €161($175) and the S6 lite is €183($198). So newer, cheaper and bigger is what pushed me to the A9+.
I had this dilemma until a few days ago. I just mistakenly bought a used S6 Lite 2020 instead of 2022 at an ebay auction. It's the LTE version and in excellent condition. I paid €100 for it without the S-pen. I can buy an S-pen for €20. Is it a good buy in 2023. or should I go for the 2022 version.

no its automatically 8gb of ram, you don't do anything in the settings like some that use virtual ram

You'd expect performance to be AT LEAST marginally better than the Tab S6 Lite (2022), but nope. Only a SLIGHT improvement.

I just replaced my Samsung Tab A 2019 with the Samsung A9 plus. I tested both the A9 plus And the S6 lite.
For my needs the A9+ is better.
Furthermore one big consideration for you yo think about is A9+ is a year newer than the S6 lite. That means you can count on OS updates at least to Android 15. Also security updates past that. S6 lite is last generation and thats why you can get it at a iut the same price.
If you're thinking A9 + i have to tell yiu right now you can get the 128 gig version with a 49 buck Samsung case for 227 bucks. Look for that as there are multiple deals, but none compared to this deal.

Sharing my opinion between these two:
I am also torn between these two at first, but later on planning to decide to buy A9 plus. This video helped me so much to decide which tablet to buy.
Specs and price wise, A9 plus. And notes wise, S6 Lite for its S pen. I would prefer A9 plus for its specs, so that I can still play in higher graphics than S6 lite. I can just buy a third party stylus pen and plam rejection gloves for note taking in A9 plus.
A9 has 5g. Its overall better than s6 lite except the spen
