You guys are the kind of people I wish I had more of around me. I am basically a loner where I live. I’m a dying breed but not dead yet. …lol love your cats and they sound awesome. I know you’re following my sad attempt of trying to build a bad ass 56 Delivery hot rod with a big block of course. Reality has set in and had to scrap my dream of putting a 4 speed in it due to my knee issues. But back to you great job I want to see you guys build another ride on your TH-cam channel?
@emptypocketsgaragejames6393 bad knee is not good with a 4speed but ain't nothing wrong with an automatic bro. Hoping to start on a 41 Chevy hotrod truck without fenders and a big block soon. I'm getting older but I'll keep doing what I can till I can't 😌
i did not know that the big block was that tight if these cars. i see yours is in the firewall kind of deep. is the radiator wider and moved back (to fit in) some which make the engine compartment smaller. the front axle seems to be derectly under the water pump. i was thinking the motors would ride further ahead than that. as the axle would be under cylinder one and two.. thanks.
@giveblood8467 radiator is in the stock location. Firewall was modified to make room for the distributor. I have a half inch clearance between fan and radiator and same for the Firewall and distributor. It's tight!
for now just put a 1 1/2 inch pipe somewhere out the back of the car just enought that you can see it. when barny fiffe stops you just tell him the tubes at the sides of the car,, are radiator hot overflow releif safety tubes,,, (make sure you say word safety) then say see the exhaust is out the back like it is supose to be..... should last for couple of months. thanks
@giveblood8467 actually I did fabb up some manual cutouts. Eventually I will add a choke cable like deal to open the side pipes from inside the car. It does have an exhaust to the rearend.
Love this car!❤

Also the engine is a little bit further forward than it looks. The main cradle is under the two front cylinders give or take.
How many horse power does it have?
@vladmorarus6847 actually not that much but it is a fun car. Goes fast enough to scare me a bit.
