One of the funniest things ever in TSB. Can't believe they still won. I missed Altare saying it was Dez level dumpy so that caught me out 😂 Oh Selen...she DID say she would make it work.
Also once again, appreciate this high level of editing like your cuts are and inserts are *chefs kiss*. Love that jazz song while they went on (is that the overcooked soundtrack? If not maybe I've just had too many nightmares over that game lol)

Fun fact: The racer themed Pathfinder skins were nerfed fairly early in Apex's life. Pathfinder used to be WAY thicccer than he is now, but they nerfed it because his thighs were way thicker than his actual hitbox, so it caused some discrepancy when shooting him. I don't recall any of the skin's names, but I think the rare carbon fiber recolor from Twitch Prime is Omega Point? It affected all of the recolors of that skin.
some ppl actually considering pathfinder as optional rotation legend because its zipline got a buff. might easier to get beamed because the straight line but it should work with cover fire. besides ive seen pro players that love movement choose pathfinder to push wherever they want
Its also a simpler legend to play. Sometimes if you have too many options esp if your not used to it, it makes you think too much and your play takes a hit.
Of course, if they were to use Pathy, it should be Altare switching Valk for Pathy, or Altare switching to Bangalore so Selen can switch to Pathy, not this Pathy Valk duo. Two mobility and a Defensive Legends doesn't seem like a good comp.
@@daddysempaichan path and valk duo is definitely strange comp to me. im just pointing out pathfinder is not an absolute worst selection for competitive tournament. it has its use for ppl who are main movement type
To be fair, if something doesn't look like a good option it takes the enemy by surprise, if the player is good enough at the game, they may be able to win a game (at most being very optimistic) or do something productive (at most realistic)
Pathfinder does seem like a great match for her though. Who needs teamwork if you have enough mobility that you can just do everything yourself?

If he isn't viable in the meta then he isn't viable in comp.
He is still top tier in solo queue/pubs but there just isn't any real scenarios where you would take Pathy over Valk or Wraith or even Horizon in comp.

That Bad is the situation for path in comp? I always thought it was a relatively strong legend but failed in being the movement support for the other members of the team and his lack of option for a safe rotation like valk, wraith or Even catalyst could do with their ult

she had 5 kills and 5 assists before putting down that solo valk in the end, so possibly 6 kills? great game especially since she choose pathfinder accidentally
Doesn’t Selen usually main Wraith? Is there a reason she is not using wraith for the competition?
I don't think selen plays wraith as far as I know? she's mentioned being a path main in the past, but for this current comp the team wants her to be on bang

why is pathfinder generally seen as bad for competative apex?
his ability kit doesn't have much utility to offer, especially compared to other competitive meta legends. he also has a very big hitbox making him an easy target, and as you can imagine everyone in pro lobbies has nutty aim so it's very easy to get downed/take a lot of damage and waste precious meds
