Few singers can do that.

Great job, some people still look for the original, but when the original can't be there the next best thing is a GREAT backup, Prince changed members all the time and still sounded great, Journey has a great replacement singer in this guy.

Bon Jovi also can't sing the same way he did before because of his aged. But none made that big as an issue. TOTO band, Axl Rose also. So for me this is not an issue. Why do people expect from these amazing singers to sing constantly well just like their younger years. They already have proven alot.

Maybe there's a problem with the sound monitor. If you can't hear yourself especially in a concert like that, it will be really difficult to be in the right tune and probably it will be so hard to sing.
Yeah, if your earpiece doesn’t give you a good feedback and you can’t hear your band because of too much noise from the audience, you’ll go out of tune.
