I was a Creta owner shifted to VW Virtus. Creta is more comfy and N line ensures that performance kicks in. VW Taigun is a performance vehicle and a true driver's delight. Creta can be fast but not when it comes to stability, cornering and confidence...all these are satisfied by Taigun to max extent. So am not biased but what's the use of speed when it can't be controlled. In real time, you rarely get a straight road with no traffic.

I had driven both ..both are best...actually N line is perfectly tuned and feels like German...in every aspect...but the normal creta is somewhat comfort oriented...
I have the Taigun GT Plus (2024) and it is simply a pleasure to drive the car. Just driving anywhere in the car feels like an occasion because it performs and handles so well. And the DSG after 15-20 km/h is so slick (there is a small lag initially). Where it truly shines is the highways - the thing pulls at 120 like no other car in the segment - and you have to check the speed to see that you are going at 160-170 lol. So planted and assured driving. IMO it is unmatched in driving dynamics in its segment (the Kushaq has a slightly softer suspension which is felt when cornering). Love the car.

Sorry, but 1/8 mile or 0-200m drag races are very much a 'standard'. The reason we couldn't run a 0-400m format is simply because of space constraints. The Creta MT would have won the 400m regardless. The Taigun DSG would have been quicker, though, and I have clearly stated that fact in the video. Also, the fishy stuff you talk about is solely related to driver reaction times, nothing else. Maybe try and put these conspiracy theories to rest.
First off, the drag race was only 200 meters-essentially a sprint. This short distance, combined with the initial DSG lag, was the only way the Creta could claim a 0.1-second edge. It’s a pretty misleading representation. If the race had been longer, the story would have been quite different. The Taigun really comes into its own in mid and long-range situations. Additionally, this was a straight-line race. German vehicles truly excel when it comes to handling corners, uneven roads, and providing an intuitive driving experience. They offer a level of precision and consistency that you can rely on, making them feel responsive and predictable every time you drive.
Hands down Creta N. Driven both and I honestly don't see even one point where the Taigun is better than Creta. Probably build/safety is the only point 😂😂

Creta N Line is comfier, plenty fast, loaded with features, more practical boot space for family and N Line is even good to ride at low speeds. The Taigun's interior quality is no way near good as in terms of quality or functionality or in feature sets. N line is not as stable or planted at very high speeds say over 140 kmph. But, ordinary folks won't be keeping that speed for a long time in our driving conditions. Creta is also way more cheaper to maintain and retains a great value when one sells. If I'm to pick a car just for driving pleasure I'd pick the base Taigun GT + DSG. But, for the Top end spec, N Line N 10 makes much better value for money than GT Edge Sport. My vote is for the N Line hands down.
Creta is cheaper to maintain? Ahahaha korean GDI engines are some of the most unreliable junk on the market. Most of their GDI motors have a terrible reputation abroad. I assure you both will be equally unreliable. From my perspective, if I'm getting an unreliable car anyway, might as well get the German one with W-A-Y better build quality.

In the slalom run both cars missed some turns, but apparently no time penalties. Which thereby invalidated any time posted by both cars.
Erm, not really. We did 3-4 runs in each car. The final timings you see are the best/clean ones, so obviously no penalty.
