Yelawolf discussed the challenges that came with being the first White rapper signed to Eminem’s Shady Records. He described feeling overwhelmed by the influx of people looking to work with him, citing too many uninvited ideas that disrupted his creative process. Yelawolf likened the situation to the popular movie "Wayne’s World," wherein a famous underground show is taken over by a big corporation, leading to the loss of its original charm. Yelawolf felt the pressure of being a new artist and admitted to going along with others’ ideas even if they were not reflective of his musical vision. He did, however, acknowledge some of the songs on his first album, 'Radioactive,' were critically acclaimed. All the day 1s know. Love Story is a timeless masterpiece from start to finish! I got the vinyl and the CD! Hell I even have the lyric book and this album led me to attend the first slumfest in Nashville and I met Wolf in person. The picture is framed on my wall to this day
That track with Mystikal Radioactive is one of my favorite Yelawolf songs. I agree there should’ve been some tracks left off.

I remember the radioactive album release I was already a fan n they should have let yela do yela rather than push for singles cos people were ready for that rather than a marketed yela but was still a excellent project in parts n then gave him more Control next project so worked out well in the end love that he's able to do what he likes and has more clout in Hip hop to get more achieved with he's vision great artist great writer singer and rapper and has a audience that supports him n let's him express without him having to do more of the same ev project for that project to sell looking forward to where he goes next with it

I just know for a fact he's talking specifically about "WRITE YOUR NAME" being the record that's "Timeless" yet he didn't want to do at the moment. FOR A FACT he was looking at that record sideways, but let me tell you, it's def one of the DOPEST records on Radioactive. I still bump it till this day and Justice League gave him a HELL OF A BEAT with that.
Animal is my fav song off radioactive and it’s def a better album than ppl gave it credit for I have great memories with that album.
Yelawolf has a couple great songs on shady but his best stuff has been since he left, Black sheep, Mud Mouth, Ghetto cowboy are all him and his vision

Very true. Eminem stick on that late 90’s early 2000’s production process and style. It’s dated and just stale at this point. Eminem has said in interviews he’s stubborn and won’t let go of that either which is why his recent albums have been failures musically. He worked with Rick Rubin and made one of his worst records ever. Yelawolf is a true artist focused in growth.

I really get the sense that he never really liked eminen. I’ve seen other interviews where he would sorta roll his eyes at any Em related question. Not the same eye roll that dame dash would give when asked about Jay Z, but just a disappointed vibe where I think he’s like “em isn’t who y’all think he is” idk, maybe I’m over thinking this.
When it’s someone’s life story Vlad let’s them talk for the most part….. when he has reoccurring guests talking about current events he feels like his opinion is just as important.
