didnt realize the range difference was that significant, still wouldnt give up the fat tires though, much more comfortable for longer rides. great video, by the way. well spoken, lays it all out well, and well edited. edit: in case anyone is reading this while deciding, the ride into visit my mother in west end ottawa from russell is 47km. i can get there and back no problems. though i did get caught out one time and ran out of juice for the last 7 or 8 km on the trip back, because i was loaded down with some groceries as well, and i was being kind of lazy and not pedalling as hard as i normally do.
