Thank you so mucy for you clarity. My family does not have an infinity for firm ganache inbetween unctious cakes. Can I do the whole cake with favrourite buttercream and then just pour ganache over for an edgy look???
Chloe Bothma Hi, Warm ganache poured over buttercream would melt the buttercream. If you're using a butter-based buttercream, you do not have to use ganache (mentioned a couple of times in the video).
Hi Marsha, where can I buy the plastic sealable wrap you used to cover the acrylic discs? Its definitely thicker and stronger than the regular plastic wraps?
Hi Marsha, may I please ask why you ganached the plastic that covers the top acrylic disc before you placed it on top of the cake prior to smoothing? Thank you in advance!
When using the press n seal wrap on the acrylics, it always sticks to my acrylics and is difficult to remove the acrylic from the top. Thoughts? Also which brand of chocolate do you prefer? I know you said higher end. Thoughts on a brand? Thanks
Thank you for the tutorial, you say your recipe is for covering a cake to be used under fondant... my question is can it be just left without the fondant or it will be a different ratio?
