I've found I can usually tell a plugin from the real thing when it comes to the lower string tones. The E and A strings always sound...buzzy and too...round? (hard to describe sound 🙄)
Augh, I'm gonna end up with this. I know it. I've been gassing for an AXE IO anyway cause of the pickup loading available. Helix Native is missing that from the Helix Hardware. This is icing on the cake. Can I really play enough guitar to justify this? Does that even matter??
Is the Z-tone thing in the AXE IO different to the way the impedance circuit in the helix works? This is the first I'm hearing about the AXE IO and I'm intrigued
I have 2 axe io's. Reamp is transparent. (I cant hear a difference when sending a di to my real amps) For any harsh, or too bright captures, the Z control can warm them right up. Its a good, guitar dedicated interface.

It sounds like it’s possible the input gain might be set a little too high, and also needs set to instrument in instead of line in, in case it’s not. The monitors you’re using could possibly make a difference, too, though I know the chance is low that is the problem.
Fantastic sound. May I ask which interface you're using? Or rather (and perhaps much more important): In case you're not running straight into your interface, what's your signal chain before you hit its input? Any buffers (or buffered pedals)? Any DI boxes?
They released AmpliTube 5.5.3 little ago, where you can use simultaneously TONEX and AmpliTube Then maybe, using the iRig Stomp I/O I think It’s more than enough to set a great Rig.

Played the actual amp before Joe's speaker swap. It actually didn't sound very good with the speaker Alexander picked, especially the cleans. Dumble threatenign to sue for selling it is common, not unique to any particular amp. He made customers sign documents that said they are not allowed to resell the amp, absurd practice. ToneX is great, but still hoping more people capture good stuff directly with the technology. It takes a while to capture and honestly there are a lot less user captures so far than I would have expected if you remove the profiling of other profilers from the list.

A mesa lone star classic with a 65 fender deluxe a few pedals wet dry and I’m in analog heaven no matter the company digital just doesn’t come close all of them sound the same
I really love Tonex, don’t get me wrong and by the way, your playing is excellent, but I never got the Dumble overdrive hype. It gets so buzzy! Especially on the low strings. The tone loses all definition with that buzzy fuzzy quality. Not my cup of tea I’m afraid. I liked the clean tones though.
It takes a while to capture and honestly there are a lot less user captures so far than I would have expected if you remove the profiling of other profilers from the list.
not excited about muddy lo gain
Dumbles souls cold and sterile to me. I saw Larry Carlton live in the 90s and didn’t like his tone at all.
Ahhh Joe Bonamassa. The Nickelback of Blues. For people who like listening to male oriented tv show bumper music.
