I was always taught this pattern for the road: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, TA forward and then fourth. Then to slow down with full gravity wagons I was told: 4th to 3rd then hold the clutch and go to 2nd or 1st but hold the clutch and let the weight to slow down then clutch out in 2nd, then first and when your in first slowing down pull the TA back. And without a load you just do that but use the gears and throttle to slow down, and NEVER use the TA to slow down, and make sure you throttle down when up shifting to avoid stress on the gears from the torque especially with the TA foward
Draft is nothing to do with light or heavy equipment When pulling plow can set lever say in-between light heavy...when hit hard ground...will automatically pick up on arms a touch so tractor can pull it..the draft senses the pull....and keep front end of tractor from raising off ground

GREAT JOB ! ! !
Make more informational video's
I enjoyed viewing, and am looking forward to more in the future
Thank you...

Spent a lot of time on a 1066 in the late 70 O what fun
Awesome! Keep up the great work
Great video, thanks!
Can you explain to me again about the levers next to you, because of the noise, I can't understand it well.
thank you
Always start with your torque arm pulled back, then as you go forward and need more speed then push the torque arm forwad

Hola me podrías mostrar a donde esta conectado el convertidor de par por favor
Does it have a locking rear differential control?
he should be showing us how you use a weedeater
If I’m driving down the road and want to go faster do I just move the throttle up more and shift to a higher gear or how does that work
You use the TA when in 3rd so then just go into fourth and throttle up yes
My 1066 is currently down I'm waiting on the starter to get rebuilt
I have a 966!!!
I had a 766
And you never ever use the ta to slow the tractor down. Major cause of failure. Fixed alot of them.
An never push it ahead under load it will last alot longer.
Is a 966 the same
Same other than the 1066 having a turbo
Blow out your air filter and the Guage will work better.
Im always confused on how american tractors don't have a gas pedal...seems so wierd to meXD
Most tractors will be running wide open when working. Rather than always having to stand on a pedal, a lever is much better.

@@demoritzz5327 what does driving on the road have to do with it? You set a gear and run it wide open until you stop. Not seeing the advantage
@@jacobiceps9452 also most tractors since the 90’s have a throttle pedal. Just the tractors up til about 80’s didnt.
