This is something I want to try but would also defy the point as it will pickup propellor noise. If you are trying to get cityscape or rural noises either record on your phone or use a service like artist thats what I do. There's a link in my description.
I currently fly the air 2s but I'm thinking about switching to the air 3 or the mini 4 pro. I mainly want the 360 obstacle avoidance, 360 active track, and the RC2 controller. I'm leaning towards the mini since it's cheaper and won't need to be registered with the FAA. I may miss the extra speed of the air though. What are your thoughts? This all started with me looking into the dji RC as an add on to my air 2s.
I’m familiar with the US Rules but that’s only place I haven’t got my license for. Depending where you will fly the most. I also recommend getting your license it’s not that bad and once you have it unlocks more opportunities. The Mini is great through. Air 2S also still a fantastic drone. You can use it for commercial gigs $. The RC2 won’t work with your Air 2S. It’s not backwards compatible only Mini 4 Pro and Air 3 work with it as of now.
I'm wondering if I should update the firmware since everything is working fine with my DJI Air 3. What is your opinion on this? Do you think I should update?
Any idea when they will update the firmware so I can output a clean feed from the rc2? I need to do a live broadcast. Just bought the air 3 and need this feature. I really don’t want to have to spend 3800 on the mavic pro
Which area. US, EU? Henrik at Tech Drone media made a video recently on this for EU. Not sure on US but there’s bound to be a video. There’s a section where you enter your ID under safety.
@DimmyV I'm in The U.S. I know new drone come w/ Remote ID. But idk if Each Drone's gonna have its own ID# or if I would have to apply for an ID# so no matter wat drone I fly, one single I.D# shows for any drone.
Hey David, appreciate this. What issues are you having with geo fencing as I've not experienced a problem. I flew from the airport for NYE to capture the fireworks here in Toronto, with permission of course.
Well places I was able to fly before with my cheaper bwine f7 drone, I now cannot just fly without going to every airport in those areas and getting a letter of authorization and then going to the dji website and entering a ton of info, and then waiting for approval again from dji. Then having to finally apply the license to the drone and hope it works. Just to much footwork for a recreational flyer. Especially time consuming if traveling and trying to get photos and footage.
Thanks for the video. I have air 3. Is there a way to record audio on the video, not screen record audio.

yeah the RC1 will work with the air2s though at $309usd from dji

I thought air 2s is able to do 360 active track?
the air2s doesn't have 360 obstacle avoidance, so no 360 active track @@ElevatedVehicles
@@TheProCut17 dang! That stinks. I ordered one recently. I dunno why it had front side or rear tracking object on it

Yes update. The update also has small bug fixes.

Sorry not idea when this will or could happen. People are using the Apple Vision Pros but the latency is not great
Have a question about Remote I'd. Do I need to apply for a remote id# or does the drone automatically comes w/ id#. Thanks!
Drone already comes with it.
@@john-martin so every single drone has it's own id#?
So if I fly two Drones, it will be 2 different remote Id#?

Glad to see DJI continually making improvements via Firmware to their drones…Happy New Year, Demetrios! 🎉
Happy New year Thomas hope all is good with you 🍻🎆
Sorry it's late, I'm not on DJI favoured creators list yet. Happy flying.
Huge update with the Air 3!!! I also fly my DJI Air 3 in Toronto. I wish I can fly with you one day.

Awesome info on the updates!! How were you able to fly the Air 3 in downtown T.O? I thought only the mini series are allowed/authorizded down there?
Got advanced license and approved with NavCanada.
Great content m8 that mustash doesn't suit you get rid I did😮
Glad you enjoyed the content, tash is staying though. 🍻
10/10 content bro
Thank you 📺
Dji got a big thumbs down from me. They need to remove the their geofencing. Autel is the way to go for consumers
