It's time to get the nursery room ready for our twin boys that are going to come in about 1 month! i will be turning our guest / all purpose room into the nursery and we will be moving furniture, painting a dresser, deep cleaning , decluttering a lot of stuff, organizing and more!!!do, please consider subscribing for more cleaning, organizing, decluttering motivation as well as an occasional DIY project and a room makeover on this channel!

Absolutely love the nursery and those pictures are great! When you said the cost of the mattresses, yes, pricey but you saved money by repurposing other things. It all came together amazingly.

If you get tired of the blue on the dresser,you could paint it the dark blue of the curtains 😊❤I love the pictures!
The dresser came out so good! I liked it before too but it’s for the babies so I’d paint it too.
I LOVE the blue color for the dresser. Such a nice pop of color!!! 🎉❤. I love the furniture placement. Works well for the room. Great job! And yes I think if you painted the small end table a pale yellow it would be very cute and bring the room together. The curtains are a cute touch for the boys!!

I truly love the dresser. It looks great. My only suggestion is to possibly paint the table next to the rocker. Oh I love pictures too! Great job!
I agree with everyone else about the dresser, love it. The room turned out great. The only thing I “might” would do, is paint the little side table next to the rocking chair. Love your videos!

Love the blue dresser! I would paint the table and larger dresser the same blue. Love it!
I'd suggest putting the dresser closer to the diaper changing table. It will make it easier for you to take and put away clothes while changing. Also, you may consider putting the beds not in line but in a "¬" position in the corner to allow an easier access
I love the room!!!! You did a great job getting the things you need for the twins. The curtains are perfect for the boys. Also love the photos. But I wouldn't keep them over the changing table. I only ever hung soft colorful things because I was afraid of them falling on the baby. For my daughter 38 years ago, I had done a puzzle of ET in the closet with stuffed animals and glued it on the back and hung it over the changing table. She loved all of the colors and as she got older I would hold her up and taught her the animals. You hang in there Jenia and take it easy. Always enjoy your videos. The nursery looks wonderful. The blue dresser is a perfect accent. I don’t think it would look as nice if both dressers were blue. I like your style. And, I love the idea of the picture of your big belly with the two US pics of the boys. Now, please, rest. 😊

Jenia, the nursery really turned out nice. How wonderful to have, to need, a room with two cribs. 😊😊 Maybe you should consider covering the crib sheets with something for now in case the cat naps on them? That way no little cat hairs to bother little noses where the little ones sleep. Wishing you the very best as you wait to welcome your two little boys.

One thing though, just me so don’t come at me people, I would never allow a cat to lie on my changing mat or on the cot sheets.
So looking forward to the boys arriving and I loved being pregnant too. 😊❤
I would put one of the cots under the picture and one on the wall they are both in and possibly the changing table in between the 2 cots. The blue furniture looks incredible but I would get.different handles. The room looks lovely. I highly recommend a himalayan salt lamp in your children's bedrooms. We have them in all of ours.and they are beautiful, keep the air clean and provide a lovely light/glow x x x x
I like the dresser the room is turning out good. I must say lady your stomach is getting big and I like that mommy picture I like the way you put those pictures. One of my niece's have identical twin girl's beautiful they are there now 3 I don't know who is who. But they are always loving on each other. When one is crying the other goes and loves on them you will enjoy twins I can't wait to see your babies. God Bless you and please take it easy. Your such a kind sweet lady. I love seeing Katya in the changing table. She was on the top of that table and every seen that showed it so I think that that is her favorite place to lay right now

Oh thank you so much!! Katya ( yes, you did spell it right) loves the changing table and chair and sleeps in that room all the time now. I will need to change the covers before the babies arrive LOL!

Beautiful job with the room ! I love the photo of you pregnant and putting the twins photos on each side. Just one suggestion, I would not put the frames over anywhere the babies will be under either above the cribs or changing tables . I just worry that they may fall so I always avoided putting anything above where my kids slept or were changed. Just to have a piece of mind. I love the carpet , brings a lot of light to the room.
Also I think when the twins arrive and you use the room you will move things around to fit what works for you best. I would stick to what is easier for you to reach when you need to change the boys or comfort when feeding them especially in the middle of the night. I like the table by the rocker to allow you to place water or whatever you need for yourself, even bottles.
Thank you Irina!! Yes, we did not wanna put frames above the cribs and ended up doing it over the changing table.. I thought , well, I will always be there while I change them, so it should be fine.

Oh, Jenia, I just love your new nursery for your precious darlings when they come in to the world. The dressers are absolutely beautiful. I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to thinking out of the box. The rooms looking lovely. Tip for painting furniture with detail in future. Paint with a paintbrush in the details first then go over with the roller it’s smooths it out. 🙂

From one twin mother to another:
Move one of the cribs to your bedroom. They can sleep in one together and your will need one in your bedroom aswell❤
I definitely agree that I will need an extra sleeping spot for them in out bedroom. We have pack n play and I have seen people using it for twins by putting 2 inserts. Thank you for the advice, the sleeping situation is one of my biggest concerns and confusions... 😊

Also I love seeing your cat in the backgrounds being a cat mom myself haha❤️ also I love the dresser color,but maybe that's because it's the same color as my childhood bedroom. Great job! U did an awesome job w the framed pix!! The 4D ultra sound pix are wonderful :) think the blue dresser is def cute for the twins!! Deg paint the small table by the chair either the same blue or white;) u may not need all three of those shelves moving forward? Or maybe u can paint the shelf brackets the same color of the wall? ❤

The only thing I might do differently, and only if this works, is put the changing table between the cribs. That way you not only have room for more storage, but you also have both cribs closer to the changing table.

I always figure if I think an older piece of furniture would need to be refinished anyway, I might as well paint it . If I get tired of the paint it would have to be stripped down anyway- so might as well try painting it. I’ve always liked my painted pieces, most of which I did myself.❤❤❤
That's so true, every piece i ever painted , i never regretted doing so and loved them.
Love the room. One change to suggest is moving the new painted dresser from underneath the shelves. Children tend to climb, and it is very easy for them to pull out the drawers to use as steps to get to the shelves; especially if they see something they want on a shelf. May want to look at securing the furniture to the wall once you decide on final placement.
That is a very good point I have not considered (using drawers as steps LOL) . I'll keep it in mind! Thank you so much!

Thank you, my toddlers prefer english (everything and everybody around is in english), I try to speak russian from time to time and we definitely use some expressions in russian with kids, but not really speaking unfortunately.

You can also take clothes, shoes, toys that the kids outgrow to Once Upon a Child and sell them. You don't get a lot but it helps with purchasing new things. If you purchase the same day you sell they also don't charge sales tax on your purchases.

Well done everything can be second hand but as you have said mattresses and car seats should always be brand new you shouldn’t even pass mattresses between siblings ever under 2 years old everything else you can ❤❤❤❤
