Thank you a lot for this video you actually helped me using my own hobo cousin as a planner, that thing of planning your day in the weekly section and then writing what you actually do in the daily pages, it really help me when i'm working on my free days, i write what i did and i really realise "ok i spend 2 hours procrastinating i really need to work on the thing" and that help me doing it. I also started writing my to do list in it, and then i use the rest of the page for quote, random thoughts, drawing and so on. I did it only for a few days so i can really tell how it's gonna be in the futur (mainly for work day... I don't really want to write work to do in my hobo... ) but for now it feel great. Thank you again.

THANK YOU! I don't really draw and I love the hobonichi but I always feel bad that it's just a messy planner in my chicken scratch. I love finding videos of people who use hononichi's as a planner. It makes my planning prettier.

Bianca, thanks for the video. As another option of pens you can look into the Pilot Hi-Tec-C gel pens. They come in 0.4 point as well as 0.3 and even 0.25 according to JetPens. great video and looking forwards to your next ones.

I do something similar in my A6 planner - appts on left, to-dos on right separated by a thin blue line and nots on the bottom. Still looking for the perfect pens, tend to use my Kaweco Sport fountain pens or a Unistylefit. I avoid the pilot hi-tecs as they are very scratchy

Excellent video. I have been on the middle of the fence about ordering one because I was not sure how functional it would be as a planner so this was very helpful. Thank you. I look forward to seeing how you make your stickers.

What a great video! It was just what I was looking for. I am NOT artsy and so many of the Hobonichi videos are geared toward that so this was a pleasant surprise to find your video. Thanks again.

I use mine as a straight planner too! Just popped it up on my channel :-)

Fantastic video! It makes me so happy to see people using their Hobonichis for planning :o) I like your system of red stars for unfinished tasks. I also really enjoyed seeing how you use the Hobonichi stencil. It's a shame that Frixions don't fit in them (I saw the scary Frixion heat disaster video too, but I don't think I could go back to not being able to erase!).

I use my A6 Hobonichi for planning only. I wrote a blog post about it here: fennellbooks.co.uk/journal/2015/3/8/hobonichi-joy
It is great as a straight forward planner.
