I'm one of those nature lovers, who would like to do more to make this world a better place, but has to work full time for living. But small good deeds also matter, right? Everyone can find few hours to volunteer in a local animal shelter, or food bank, or collect rubbish in the park, from the river or lake, or feed birds in winter, or support a local eco-project. One of us can do a little, all of us can change a lot!
Exactly Olga, in my view the most important is not to be ignorant. And from that perspective it doesn't matter if it's small or large, just the action itself is already huge. And if that will multiply by large amount of people than its even better!
It is amazing to hold our minds, hands and heart for the same purpose. Love to be part of the family where i never met any of these people, yet feeling deeply connected. Thank you
You are so inspiring! I wish everyone was like you it would be a beautiful world! How do you find projects to volunteer on? Do you use workaway or any other website?
Thank you, very happy to hear that! Workaway is more for staying in some people farms or houses, or help them with their personal building, gardening projects, kids, and so on. There are very few NGOs and conservation projects. I personally had never found anything there . The one i like is www.voluntouring.org/ , they have many interesting projects listed. Generally I don't use such websites, there are so many scams which will charge you money for volunteering. Usually I just use keywords for in specific countries. For example "whales conservation Tukey" this way i find organizations directly and just contact them. Good luck !
I love your videos and the work you do with these organizations, thank you for spreading such positive messages! One question I have is how you can continue to do this if you're losing money consistently, it seems like a full-time job for you.
Hey Manuel, Thank you very much ! Yeah it truth about money, but that's my passion, and I think it's important so that's why i keep going. I earn money by giving online bass guitar lessons and also sometimes record bass parts for various bands. Occasionally film videos for various organizations, but that's happens very rarely. And the kind of videos I do really takes a lot of time, because I volunteer from few days till 2 weeks and then it takes 1-2 weeks for editing, color correction, sounds, effects, voice over etc. a lot of stuff.
@@BeBraveToAct That's really cool, thanks for the reply! I'm looking to do some traveling around Europe soon and would love to volunteer my time in projects such as these if that was possible. Maybe it would be cool to set up a google doc or some other resource with things like these for people to know where to look and who to reach out to...
@@manuelbrito9962 there are so many interesting projects in Europe. You can check this page : www.voluntouring.org/ for some ideas. Yeah would be good to have some data base with all of the projects
