skimming an mx5 cylinder head on my TOS milling machine ..

OLÁ. Pelo simples fato de NÃO teres completado a usinagem NÃO conseguistes um acabamento com "CRUZAMENTO". Pode ser defeito da máquina, de regulagem ou até de conhecimento técnico insuficiente do operador. ABRAÇOS... Roberto Udo Krapf

Thanks for your comment ... the head was finished according to manufactures specifications ... in fact we can easily do better than new. New heads don't have a cross hatched finish .... it's not in the specifications. Thanks for commenting.

Eu poderia lhe indicar e comentar mais de uma centena de "especificações técnicas", e uso errôneo de instrumentos de medição, de especificações opostas entre um boletim técnico, manuais, catálogos de um mesmo fabricante ou até entre eles. Quando existe "competência Técnica" não existe a frase "it,s not in the specifications" . ABRAÇOS... Roberto Udo Krapf
