    Thanks a million, Mark. I think Loupedeck is a wonderful instrument, but the community needs to know how to use it in a flexible and freely configurable way. These videos of you are essential to that.

    Thanks Mark. I pulled the trigger on getting a loupedeck live because of clear guides. A real asset to the community you are.

    Hi Mark, as a musician and being busy with synthesisers and keyboards via MIDI (besides my guitars), I couldn’t get what MIDI had supposed to do with flightsim. It was really confusing me until I watched your video twice to get the philosophy (more or less). Anyway it’s a nice subject to use MIDI in flightsim. Thanks for posting the video.

    Since the last MSFS update I have noticed that the traffic on the Wilmstow Road is now crossing runway 23 left Manchester Airport. Other problems I have noticed is traffic crossing rivers under the bridges, especially noticeable on both the river severn crossings.

    Fantastic video! This series has motivated me to buy the loupedeck live and its amazing. One question when setting up a note toggle button midi action. Is there a way to setup the designated button icon to change to a different icon when toggled? I'm using the icon city icons and would like to set up the gear toggle to switch between the gear down with green light icon to the one without the green light when the gear is up. Its a nice way of instantly seeing what state the toggle is in

      I believe there is, but I don’t know how to do it unfortunately outside of C# programming

    SpadNext is pricey. I'm sure A&Os profiles will be forthcoming.

    I just wanna be able to use the knob/dials to adjust Heading & Course, ok, not only for tht, but mainly. Trying to adjust the damn things with mouse...arghhh! getting it to move slow, mess, zoom in or out, screw with barometer, rinse and repeat, is annoying, and slow. Same (worst-slowr) to try to place the BARO minimums and stuff. Slow and annoying to try to chase and set radials etc.
    And of course the plenty of options that can open up for more functions, but Gods, just the possibility (hope) of having a reliable (and more realistic) way of manipulating Heading-Course in Garmin & analogue planes would be enough to stand up and give thunderous applause.

    Thanks Mark for your time, one question. How delete "Fake button" in SPADANEXT. "Fake button" are button detected by SpadaNext, but I have then changed in the Loupedeck Configuration, and doesn't correspond any more in SpadNext are "dead", but I cannot delete. Thanks for help

    Thanks for this video. Very helpful, but this profile doesn’t work with A320 Fenix. I just installed the plug-in. Works with A320neo. Am I missing anything?

    • @SimHangerFS
      @SimHangerFS  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Fenix uses non-standard Lvars. You would need to use something like Spadnext to program these.

    Great and easy to understand video!
    Quick question. According to the supported hardware list for Spadnext the $89.99 Complete Edition is required to use it with the Loupedeck Live(??).
    Can you please confirm if this is correct? I don't want to spend $65 extra if I dont have to. ;)

    • @SimHangerFS
      @SimHangerFS  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, get MSFS or Xplane version, the complete edition includes both.

      I contacted SpadNext directly and they confirmed: "SPAD.neXt Complete Edition is required for use with Loupedeck". Not sure who is right here if you got your MSFS version to work with LD (??)

    Any suggestions on how to configure the dials for a fast and reliable manipulation of Heading & Course changes on Garmin and analogic instruments? (and not involving spadnext? ) I tried with editing dials assigning shortcuts (shift+control+home and+end) but they are still slow (tho, not as slow and unreliable as the dial on the Bravo) not fast enough, and also, for some reason after a few uses, a few manipulation/adjustments, they cease to work, i try to increase or decrease heading or course and nothing happens. im really confused...

    • @SimHangerFS
      @SimHangerFS  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would suggest contacting the developer directly CaliBx. You can find him on GitHub or the MSFS forums.

    So did all that and all works with one exception; dial buttons. I set those up same as for the Button Push but they don't show up in spad. The dial rotation does. Setting I used for the dial button push was select a unique value from 1st dropdown, then 50 for velocity, 100 for duration, 1 Ch from next dropdown and the final drop down was Note Play. Restarted everything a couple of times but when I press the dial button, it isa not reflected in spad. I also changed a couple of the values on one of the buttons but that didn't work either. Any ideas?

    • @LordRoxy
      @LordRoxy ปีที่แล้ว

      OK, so I eventually worked out that although the dial has a push button, the values entered are slightly different. Values I used are: select a unique value from 1st dropdown, then 100 for velocity, 300 for duration, 1 Ch from next dropdown and the final drop down is Note Play

    Is it possible to have a button pressed while the button is held? The press only pressed for the set time, and the toggle stays lit. Is there a way to get a bit of both, where a press lasts as long as you hold it? Trying to program the CLR button on the GNS!

    • @SimHangerFS
      @SimHangerFS  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can, with SpadNext.

    hello, a question. Can I configure the product with spadnext and use it on the Fenix A320? Does the hardware recognize the Fenix lvars, can I set the various knobs for the FCU?

    I followed your keyboard shortcut from the last video but they will not work in MSFS for me, they show on the loupedeck but do nothing when I push the button.

      Make sure you have the correct profile selected in Loupedeck and Loupedeck minimised whilst running MSFS

    Thank you, it's well explained excepted one thing. Why MIDI ? Is it a specific physical connection needed ? I'm running on Shadow so no MIDI input on my PC device. I will plug the Loupedeck on USB port. Will it work or need I to tell Santa to search for something else (Tobii Eye ?)

    • @SimHangerFS
      @SimHangerFS  ปีที่แล้ว

      It connects via USB to PC. Midi is the output to SpadNext.

    Why don't I see any buttons on my Loupedeck device in SpadNext? All MIDI-options in Settings are enabled.

    • @SimHangerFS
      @SimHangerFS  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have you set up buttons and/or dials with a midi output? It can only see the device once it has a recognisable output.

      @@SimHangerFS ah, got it. I needed to press every button once to see it in Spadnext. Thx!!

    Hello I understand that I have to program all the keys for spadnext to see LD? Txh 🙂

    • @SimHangerFS
      @SimHangerFS  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any key you configure with a midi output is visible to SpadNext and can be configured. If no midi output then the dial or button would be invisible to SpadNext. (There are a few limitations here). If you wanted to run a combination of Loupedeck default MSFS profile for some actions and SpadNext for others I believe this is workable, the downside is you need Loupedeck and SpadNext running in the background. Obviously each button or dial could not be configured to both.

    I wouldn't recommend this software to anyone sadly, the discord server is a hot mess of toxicity and the developer and his minions are very rude and arrogant. I am glad this is working well for you but I would stay clear from that company.
