ゆすくけ先生 is one of my absoluts favourite teachers. His podcast has always been amgong the very best, but recently he started a series about Japanese history. It's just amazing!!
What's funny is that whenever I encounter content that's about food, my comprehension doubles. That's not really much since I think I'm around 15% but it's much easier to finish a video. A lot of my current comprehension is guesswork but food is a shared human experience so it becomes easier for me. But not good for my diet, I always get hungry after watching. Thank you very much for content like this and I hope you make more food centered videos :)
i love these with the subtitles! that allows me to look up words i don't know or can't quite get from context. it also helps me feel really good when i guess a meaning either based on context or the kanji.
im writing down so many vocab with the help of the subs! i can't read most of the kanji, but i can hear what you're saying usually and infer the rest to look it up. this is so helpful.
I bought Karamucho chips at the konbini because of your recommendation! I got the potato chips version. It was very delicious, but wasn't spicy at all haha

I just tried them, they're in the shape of ribbed chips, I would say the taste is what other chips brands call "sweet chili".

We get Choco Pie and Pocky overseas. But they aren't made in Japan. They taste very different. Nothing like the made in Japan ones.
