Now I`m 61.... In former times I learned the electric organ. Now, with 60 I started to learn the piano. One of the reasons for that was this song and the songs of Elton John. Its great to have that tutorial here. I started to learn this song now and it would be so great for me to play this song in full length. It will be hard work, but its a target..... Difícil darte una respuesta amigo, yo comencé a estudiar piano seriamente a los 12 hasta los 20 años y puedo tocar cualquier melodía (hoy tengo más de 40 años) .Para lograrlo tuve que practicar al menos 2 horas diarias. Yo creo que si tienes la constancia y te esfuerzas durante unos años, podrías llegar a interpretar este tema y el que tú quieras! Solo depende de tu esfuerzo y perseverancia.
It's not as hard as it looks. It's just the rhythm that is probably breaking your hope. Let's just say that the left hand will be doing 1,2,5 1,2,5 (thumb, pointer, pinky) a lot. (Yes it's just the pattern that u probably play a lot on songs, but backwards.) and your right hand will be playing whatever it plays. Trick is once u memorize left hand rhythm, it will be second nature and u can just follow right hand lead like any other songs. Oh and right hand repeats a lot so once u memorize a bit it's pretty much repetitive easier than it looks I'm telling u :)
It's still not too late, don't say it's too late you still have time to learn, nobody is good on day one and you can still get the motivation and find time to do it whatever your age
