The beeger irony is the fact that Mihoyo/Hoyo-verse have already been repeated offenders of making use of `multi-verse same-face gags`, on not only different games but even in the same game universe even way back to what was likely the first game in the honkai series overall. So despite the people going rabid over this whether to argue about the ship should `stay` or `be broken`, does not even hold water since they are technically a different Bronya and Seele altogether from the previous ones.

-DLC-type scenarios of the GGZ versions.
-Honkai impact 3rd `current era` versions.
-Honkai impact 3rd TECHNICALLY `previous era versions`, where Bronya was the A.I. known as Prometheus supposedly and the Seele of previous era was supposedly the one who became Herscherr of Death and was killed in the previous era, atleast based on the looks in the comics i assume?
-Honkai impact 3rd having EVENT VARIANTS of the characters, including an entirely separate battlesuit called Haxxor Bunny, Broni.
-Honkai star rails not only has one but TWO Bronya variants shown at the beginning of the game, Belobog`s version more related to Cocolia`s orphange from the previous 2 honkai games. With the OTHER ONE being based on Haxxor Bunny known as Silver Wolf.
I could continue the list likely for 10 more entries based on honkai impact 3rd event character variants before i dropped that game finally after 6.4. but i think the point stands:
Just on those listed alone That is nearly half a dozen variants of `Bronya` with atleast 4 different variants of Seele, not even counting her alter ego usually known as Veliona or `Red Seele` in some cases.
But granted this is me just having fun on pointing out people are being gigantic idiots to treat what end up being literally different characters with only sharing the same name and appearance mostly, but with a good deal of particular differences to set them apart from each other.

Recently playing Star Rail myself and I finished this story so far.
They are no where close to having having some romantic relationship.
At most they could have been long lost sisters with how one character used to live in the slums like the other character before getting taken up by the royal government to act as the leader's protege
Even in the predecessor game Honkai Impact, Seele calling Bronya as Big Sister.

Honkai star rail and honkai third impact are different games but have the same characters, but different renditions or versions of them.
Think different versions of batman or spiderman. So the Bronya and Seele in Star Rail are very different from the ones in third impact.
Edit: They are older and taller in Star Rail, Bronya looks like she's 5'5ish.
Honkai have very complicated world. There are billions of universes inside this world, and there are different versions of characters in it. Even in honkai impact third there are plenty different Bronyas, in different age, appearance, skill, etc. And there are two different bronyas in starrail apparently.
But yep, original main story hi3 universe contains bronya x seele relationship. Idk how that influence any other bronyas and seeles or even how shipping any characters is wrong or right.

Hei pulled the heights for *Honkai Impact 3rd* Seele and Bronya, in the main continuity. Within the game there's another timeline set in the future where we have the adult version of Bronya. It also features a "self-insert" character who we know as Adam, and he kinda looks like the male character in the drawing, but it could also be the protag from *Honkai Star Rail,* because the adult version of Seele is from there.
Man, talk about second hand embarrassment, we almost never get this kind of drama in the fandom, safe for that knife incident and the GBL anniversary event, lol

To shed some light on the things hero hei showed in the video: The wiki Hero Hei went to was for Honkai Impact, not Star Rail. The two in honkai impact are actually in a romantic relationship due to drama in the story. The two in Star Rail are not only completely different characters, they are actually much older than the two in Honkai Impact. Hope this clears it up a little bit.

I looked it up; Bronya and Seele aren't an official couple. There's TEASING of it, and supplementary materials leans more towards it, though it ultimately doesn't go anywhere because plot. The cherry on top? They also tease Bronya with the captain, whose male.

So, to sum up the Bronya-Seele relationship (based mostly on translations and actual in game story), is just one of family or at least close relatives in honkai. The scene every shipper refers to is from a manga, wich is one of a series, that doesn't actually imply any romantic relationship: maybe it is kinda gay but there is literally nothing even relateably romantic/sexual between these two.
And then the moment star rail comes out, before there's even enough character development to confirm or deny anything, there's already a Bunch of people forcing their "lesbians" theory on everyone...
Tl:dr: It's basically fanon and nothing more as of now.
They're not loli's. They're not lesbians. They're both from different sides of their world and put aside their differences and become good friends. I'm not saying they couldn't be lesbians, but it's very wholesome and nonsexual in game.

Yeah...taking out KianaxMei ,which is a pretty obvious couple, tho not explicit, the rest is very ambiguous if take in account what they showed in the main story.
Also we have different version for the same character like Mei and Dr.Mei which have almost the same look but very different personality.
In Star rail is the same, we have Silver Wolf Bronya(which is teen Bronya) and Bronya from the planet Jarilo-VI, they share some similarities but thats it.
So yeah Mihoyo tend to use the same character multiple time but they all have different personality.
in Honkai the self-insert experience isn't that strong, we don't even get an actual character model for "Captain". One could argue about APHO, but he's also got his own backstory and personality now. Thing is, all the "canon" lesb ships are very ambiguous, and that's like that so Hoyo won't get wacked in the head by the ccp. It's there and you can lean into the ship if you want, but it's technically not canon. Even KianaxMei, which is THE MAIN ship, you could read that as them being very very very "good friends". The only canon ships are straight, and they're mostly married couples

If you want to know my thoughts on ships in general, I could honestly care less what sexuality a character is, or who they want to do it in bed with, I just want to enjoy the characters for their personality and for who they are.
