Back when Disney had only 1 park, This was a great visit. Old Town had a good variety of shops and rides (most of which have been removed). Comprised of mostly used rides purchased from other parks, Funspot offered the trills that Magic Kingdom was lacking. The pay per ride feature is what I like, only paying for what I feel like encountering. I usually go during the day when it's dead so I get on board instantly. As time when on, this area has gone down hill and can be shady especially after dark. Keep your group together and don't stray far from the ride areas! Knob khun krab!
I imagine this place was a lot nicer back in the day. The shops on Old Town seem nice but are really touristy it seems and the price of Fun Spot is pretty high even for a pay per ride option. The lines are still pretty short in generally. There does seem to be some shady places around the park, but I haven’t felt unsafe walking around Fun Spot/Old Town at night, but that might just be me.
They don’t discount off season day tickets. Day tickets online are expensive at around $60 a piece. However, the park does not make it a secret that they’re willing to sell day tickets for $30 if you buy them in advance during sales (Black Friday, Around Christmas, Leap Day, and Fun Spot’s birthday in June). Fun Spot is also free to enter, so only those riding have to pay (you can pay per ride as well but that is $8 for smaller rides and $12 for larger ones, so it isn’t worth it unless you only want to do one or two rides).

Haven’t been before. Any idea what the cost would be for 6 people off season?
