Seeking to create reviews and video of all Roller Coasters within Thailand.
Plus, all additional Roller Coasters that I get to ride!
All Off-Ride and POVs are copyright free. All I ask is that you give me credit in your videos and descriptions -- Roller Coasters of Thailand or RC Thai is fine. (Also, feel free to let me know, so I can watch and like your video!)

Holiday in the Park Shows Ranked @ Six Flags Over Texas Christmas | 2024
The 2024 season brought a solid line up of shows to Six Flags Over Texas. However, many of these shows were hurt by being on stages just off the pathways and not having good sound. But, which ones did I enjoy the most? Find out in this countdown.

Yesterland Farm is a an amusement park with 4 roller coasters in Canton, Texas. This flagship park for farm parks across Texas also has a lot of flat rides, though these do get rotated out throughout the year. City Place is an up-and-coming high end retail district. For Christmas, they have a small gingerbread village that you can stop at to take pictures and feel a bit in the Christmas mood. Gingerbread Village is free, as well as it was free for us to park, so this is a nice little stop for some holiday cheer without being pricey. In hindsight, there was only snow here because we went the day after...

2024: Year In Review | Exploring The Roller Coasters of Texas

Happy New Year! Today, I'd like to look back on my 2024. 2024 was the first real summer that I've had to explore the various roller coasters around my home state of Texas, as I've spent the previous two summers in Thailand with my wife. This allowed me to visit most of the small parks around Texas (there are a few non-coaster amusement parks that I'm missing, but the only park with a currently ...

Review of Phoenix Rising | Better Than A Vekoma Family Suspended Coaster?
good thing is I heard there gonna be expansion for the park but not sure when or what they gonna do.
I imagine finish cleaning out the original section of the park that’s been left vacant since the new section opened. Should hopefully allow them to build a back entrance to the on property hotels which is badly needed.
@ sth like Fantasy Spring at Tokyo Disney Sea would be cool
This ride and Disko ride next to it now relocated to Vinwonders GrandPark which is open a month ago. not sure if the ride is running there because there haven’t any footage yet. I have the construction video in shorts i took from my 2024 summer trip
I saw they got updated to defunct, but I wasn’t sure why! So thanks for the update! Did anything go in their spot or are those areas just empty now?
@ the station still there but the track is at new park. I hope they will add things back soon
I’m just glad/surprised that Nemsis Spin is still there. Seemed like it was on its last leg when I was there. Did you submit your photos of the construction at VinWonders GrandPark to the Rollercoaster Database? (RCDB) not a lot of pictures from Vietnam on there.
@ i did. I also know that a version of Vekoma Super Boomerang is the original plan instead of family coaster. they relocated the one from vinwonders PQ because it’s a cheaper option.
@@olympicbuilder-JHKimaginnering Makes sense. Would be nice to see a Super Boomerang in Southeast Asia though
Thanks so much to the credit for that video I also wanted you to know I enjoyed it
Always glad to use your videos when I can! It was great seeing City Place busier so I was really thankful to be able to use your video in my review. Thanks again!
@@RollerCoastersOfThailand you are welcome
If you are planning to go with kids, go to dream world. If you are going with your partner or teenage kids. Go to Siam.
Fair assessment! I still really like Dream World, so I think it’s a good visit, but it is a family park where as Siam is Thailand’s best thrill park.
My first invert was Batman the ride at Six Flags over Texas
That would probably make it special for sure! That one has been riding good for me as of late!
Great video for sharing video of reviews Theme Park 🎉
Thanks! Good to see your channel as well! Looks like you have some neat content!
@RollerCoastersOfThailand nice! Like and support your channel 👍
my 2024 is mid tbh when i only have 4 new coaster credits all are family thrill coasters. on the other hand i have a chance to revisit one of my favorite parks and watching cool nighttime shows. compare to 2023 with 5 big coasters credit, most favorite park, most favorite show. favorite moment this year are walking barefoot under heavy rain in Vinpearl Safari and speedruning 3 nighttime/firework show at Vinwonders Nha Trang.
Which four coasters? Getting to go to VinWonders and experience roller coasters in Vietnam is something special for sure, so don’t discount that too much. It’s going to take me years to get back to Vietnam, but I’d love to get as many coaster credits as I can there. Some of the smaller kiddie coasters would likely be a pain to get, but likely the easiest way for me to reach my primary goal of getting a 100 southeast Asian coaster credits.
@@RollerCoastersOfThailand 3 big coasters at Houston Rodeo and 1 minetrain coaster at Vinwonders Nha Trang.
@@RollerCoastersOfThailand there also alpine coaster at Vinwonders Nha Trang but i’m not counting them as a credit yet
yeah, the coasters at the Rodeo being your only new credits isn’t too exciting. Strangely other spinning wild mouse’s that I went on that offered really good rides, but not the one at the rodeo.
jealous you got to VinWonder Nha Trang! Would love to get there some day!
Current plans for 2025in November Jardin D'Acclimation in Paris as well as Disneyland Paris parks, that's it so far
Those look like good family parks for sure. I haven’t been back to Disney here in the United States for probably 15 years as I went growing up, but haven’t found the money/time to go since I went to college, so jealous of getting a Disney trip in for sure!
small but fun!
It is!
Haven’t been before. Any idea what the cost would be for 6 people off season?
They don’t discount off season day tickets. Day tickets online are expensive at around $60 a piece. However, the park does not make it a secret that they’re willing to sell day tickets for $30 if you buy them in advance during sales (Black Friday, Around Christmas, Leap Day, and Fun Spot’s birthday in June). Fun Spot is also free to enter, so only those riding have to pay (you can pay per ride as well but that is $8 for smaller rides and $12 for larger ones, so it isn’t worth it unless you only want to do one or two rides).
This is my 1st time I heard about this place going to have to check it out Next Year I went to Dewberry Farm on the 28th after a 13 year gap in between visits last time I visited was during the Fall Festival in 2011
Oh wow - I didn’t know about Dewberry farm until they added a coaster. How much has changed there in 13 years?
This park just opened last Spring and then added their coaster right before Halloween so it just popped up in the roller coaster database. It is a really good kid coaster, at least with how it is running currently. A bit of a drive though…
@@RollerCoastersOfThailand there was only the Ferris Wheel I think and Carousel Slide AND hay Mountain were there that all I can remember that was there
@ Cool to know for sure! Hopefully I can get out there for their Christmas event next year!
Back when Disney had only 1 park, This was a great visit. Old Town had a good variety of shops and rides (most of which have been removed). Comprised of mostly used rides purchased from other parks, Funspot offered the trills that Magic Kingdom was lacking. The pay per ride feature is what I like, only paying for what I feel like encountering. I usually go during the day when it's dead so I get on board instantly. As time when on, this area has gone down hill and can be shady especially after dark. Keep your group together and don't stray far from the ride areas! Knob khun krab!
I imagine this place was a lot nicer back in the day. The shops on Old Town seem nice but are really touristy it seems and the price of Fun Spot is pretty high even for a pay per ride option. The lines are still pretty short in generally. There does seem to be some shady places around the park, but I haven’t felt unsafe walking around Fun Spot/Old Town at night, but that might just be me.
Brilliant video! thank you for including different ride extreme levels, it was great.
Thanks for the support! I was happy to give a good overview of as many rides as I could.
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!
I can’t escape!
Yuppers!
In 2023 The train of boomerang coast to coaster The train changed to new one i liked original trains more than new one!
Oh, you liked the original one better? I think the new trains don’t beat me up nearly as much, so I appreciated the change. What did you like better about the old ones?
Great Review i am going to have to make a stop at one of those locations Maybe Next Year Also My Video on Big Rivers Should be out in a hour or 2 just so you know
Yeah. It would be on the way back from P-6 Farms, but not sure how well it would pair with that park. Oh boy! Big Rivers!
Looks great!
Thanks
So I lived in Abilene in the 90s..I went to Dyess Elementary and lived on base. I have very vivid amazing memories of this place. A piece of my childhood that I will forever cherish.
That’s awesome to hear! Hopefully I did this place justice in my review then! Which pizza is your favorite from Mr. Gatti’s? Anything I missed in my review that you remember?
I've always been regular so the pepperoni was my favorite. God it's changed so much since I was a 4th/5th grader. For one the bowling alley, and definitely the roller coaster weren't there. It looked so much bigger as a kid for some reason 😂
@@jasperwellington11 Yeah, I have branched out with pizza toppings, but Cheese was my go to for a long time growing up! Yeah, the roller coaster database said the coaster was added in 2013, so I figured that wouldn't have been there. Glad to help show you the changes for sure.
I was last at this park 12 years ago before they added Swichback I don’t remember what it looked like at the time
Oh. That would have been interesting to see for sure! I looks like they’re are trying to sell Switchback, so not sure how much longer it will be around (likely the will not close it quickly like Six Flags/Cedar Fair has done), but might want to try to get over there this summer. Great park for a reasonable price, but if you’re driving a ways to get there, you’ll want to go when the water park is open as the slides are fun and it rounds out the experience nicely.
Why's this stuff so complicated, I'm a tourist and I don't want to do and learn all this. Good vid but damn they don't make it easy
Having it on the phone instead of having to go get a device like you use to is a little easier. Seems like with the cedar fair merger they’re likely to just make it more complicated/expensive in the future. At least that’s my feeling. Best of luck and hope this video helped, though some of the info in here is outdated (such as they removed all the single rider lines throughout Over Texas).
that shit rough as fuck
Did you enjoy it I been enjoying for the past 2 years i love it every year I want to eventually to come out to make a day time video at some point maybe Next Week definitely before the end of the year
It was a nice stop and pair well with the Light Park at Splashtown. It’s more a photo opportunity than anything super cool to see in my opinion, so it wasn’t my favorite. But it is really nice that it’s free to walk around and experience!
We also went to the Katy Light Park Recently and we like that one better then the 1 in spring so if you have time this year if not Next Year check the light park in Katy each location is different of there 6 Active Locations of the Light Park Hope you have a great day
Bro needs a better mic
I know. I just bought a better mic after my old one wasn’t working properly and some how I can’t figure out the right settings on it 😔
Thanks for sharing your experience on this ride! Even though I helped design the exterior and interior theming of this ride I've not gotten the chance to ride it myself yet.
That’s incredible that you got to work on the theming of this ride! Thanks for sharing! Bummer you haven’t gotten to experience it yourself yet though. So glad I could help 😁
"accrost" is not a word
Hmmm. Thats probably true 🤣
Do you like Goliath new paint job?
Not sure yet. I was excited that they did some type of retheming for it, as I feel like it should have a bit better theming given its location in the park -- though I might be comparing that to other Batman the Ride clones which isn't entirely fair. I didn't get to ride it with the new paint scheme as it was still testing during the first 30-minutes before rope drop, so I went ahead and moved towards the back of the park to be ready for rope drop (Wonder Woman didn't open at rope drop either, so just ended up riding Batgirl: Coaster Chase and Superman... not having good luck rope dropping at Fiesta Texas this season...).
please let me know what was the ticket package you buy? I am confused whether it comes with the free rides or need to buy each ride separately.
Your ticket should include all the rides. Though I remember there being different priced tickets (I think for kids and seniors) which did make it confusing trying to buy a ticket and especially confusing at figuring out what the price actually is. My first visit was through the VIN Pearl package at my hotel. The second time we bought day tickets. But you shouldn’t have to pay per ride.
I'm going there for my field ttrip
Awesome didn’t realize they did field trips! Thats awesome!
drop tower is open today at big rivers
I think from their posts they opened it starting at the beginning of Big Rivers Christmas. Still need to get over for their Christmas event this year. Plus ride the drop tower! 😁
Not seeing the coaster running from the queue to me is a downside because I tend to get antsy.
It does seem to break down a lot. I’ve waited in line for 40 minutes only to get kicked out of line since it broke down. Normally it does get up and running at some point in my experience. Not like Joker or Judge Roy Scream which are regularly closed on slower or off season days.
@@RollerCoastersOfThailand Yep. Judge Roy Scream however rarely has a line when it is open and Joker can get busy. Oh, and Mr Freeze does have a backwards train. However when I visited during Holiday in the Park, only the forwards side was running because the staff that would have run the backwards side were most likely diverted to Holiday in the Park stuff.
@@richmountain1128 I just realized that your initial comment was about not being able to see the train running from the queue line -- I think I read it as just in general. But, both are a bummer. With how intimidating it looks though, might help to not see it if you're having any second thoughts though... With its location, it is great that Judge Roy Scream hardly has a line. I did wait like 15-20 minutes while it ran one train during Fright Fest, but almost everything else had a massive line by that point in the evening. I just wish that it wasn't closed like half the time that I visit -- but, it makes sense to keep it closed some days, and it beats having it removed. Bummer that only the forwards side was up and running. I made this review after my initial rides when it was only running the forward train(s) before they decided to switch over to one forward and one backwards -- which is a fair compromise. The backward train is way better as the forces don't seem to try to kill me, though the spike isn't that much better (at least for me, others are able to really feel the spike). Over the summer the backwards car was mainly the one running (which is good), but half the cars on it were blocked off which did not help with capacity...
I'm 6ft tall, and my boyfriend is 6'2, are there any height limits to be aware of? Thanks!
I’m 5’ 11” and didn’t have any problem with my height. Some of the smaller family/kiddie rides (including Eagle Soar Glider) and the ropes course do have a 75KG weight limit, so that’s the only limitation that I ran into.
@@RollerCoastersOfThailand Thanks so much!
@ No problem! There were so many questions I had before I visited Phu Quoc. Hope y’all have fun
PENGUINS ARE THE BEST!
Pretty much 😁
Amazing I will go on this or other Saturday!!!
Jealous! It is my favorite coaster in Thailand. Despite its small size 😁
Been there twice my favorite is the go kart
It is a simple layout for Go Karts, but I think that actually helps make them more enjoyable!
Can you make top 15 rides in happy sunshine park please
Rides they have raft boat, human power coaster, family zip line, zip line, swings, volcano, sky walk, grass slide, rainbow slide, pool, castle, Rotating six-board, dragon, bouncing cloud, Adventure in the jungle, bridge, Vikings, mini tornado, trampoline castle, snow town, go cart
Not in the near future as I haven’t been to the park and likely won’t be back in Thailand for a while (I wish I was back in Thailand!). When ever I get to Happy Sunshine Park, I’ll make a top 15 rides there for sure!
Good to know with the list. That will be helpful whenever I’m able to get there.
Pony express 1:19 was from jerudong park was closed in 2006 and its was moved to Grand canyon express Siam amazing park operated 2011-2021 and Africa adventure boat and train too!!
All the fun history. I am sad I didn’t get to ride some of the now removed rides from Siam Amazing Park for sure as there were some pretty cool Ones. Sad Loop The Loop still isn’t there too.
Great pov of mouse trap, hope you did the other attractions at wonderland
Thanks! I've been processing my POVs from SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this week, but when I re-watched this when it came out, I was like: that's actually a pretty good POV in the front row. The POVs for the other 3 coasters are already out on my channel -- I've been slowly releasing my Wonderland content as other stuff keeps coming up that I want to release (I did hurry up and get my Texas Tornado content and review out for this park though). Hornet is also a special coaster for me, so I'm intentionally waiting until I have more time to spend on making that review.
@RollerCoastersOfThailand I bet, I did actually wonder about the other rides at wonderland and great news about the video footage from seaworld and busch gardens 😀
@@DavesAdventures I got a collection POV video of most of the flat rides as well. I'm just surprised you've heard of Wonderland overseas -- seems like a small niche park even here in Texas, though its collection of coasters is solid and enjoyable. If it wasn't an 8 hour drive, I'd likely go back and visit a lot more. My brother lives by BG and SeaWorld in Florida, so I've been there a fair amount -- it was just my first time I got to use my GoPro there, so that was pretty cool.
Disco seem like a really fun ride
Those are always fun flat rides, but the placement of Disco here is awesome! And you don’t find many flat rides of that quality at an FEC like this!
Vortex is even brutal than boomerang in Siam amazing park
It was pretty rough on my most recent ride, but I think Boomerang can mess with me more. Though everyone is going to be different with how they affect you.
ชอบเล่นครับ สนุกดี เล่นหลายรอบ Vekoma 450
It is really fun! Glad you were able to get over and ride it! It was one of my most ridden coasters for 2023.
🎉🎉 nice video 👍
Awe thanks! You like staring as the bowler?
Cool Kemah Boardwalk images.
No problem! Thanks!
Welcome back flare and Century Ferris wheel.
Flare is always a great ride! The Ferris wheel was still closed from the hurricane on this visit though…
Hello! Is Eagle Warrior scary?
Those type of coasters are built as family coasters, but the first drop and turn around on Eagle Warrior packs a bit of a punch if you’re scared of larger rides. I have an element by element brake down in my full review of it if that would help.
There used to be one in Pasadena, Texas too
There were a lot more around at one point, I believe. Not sure why they weren’t able to expand and do better as I have really enjoy my time at incredible pizzas.
Thanks for letting me know! I am curious where other incredible pizzas have been.
How about the lines? You managed to get to all those attractions in one day?
You should be able to. If you go on a slow weekday, no problem. On a weekend, I’d arrive at opening and start with black hole coaster and sky coaster and work your way to the back of the park from there. Those two coasters plus monorail have had the longest lines in my experience. The last time I went was on Labor Day (in Thailand) during a special so the park was absolutely packed (I skipped Sky Coaster as it easily had a two hour wait ), but still managed to do most everything I wanted. But the park normally will have manageable lines as most guests don’t have an unlimited ride pass.
I love it thanks to sharing with us this beautiful small trip❤
Thanks for watching! It is fun being able to share the roller coasters of Thailand for sure!
Same as the JOKER ride at Great America
I think I like the Joker theming on these types of rides more!
