This song is about the important role of woman in Uygur history, society, and culture. But most importantly, it praises the heroic woman who fought against invaders, tyrants, and discrimination. Invaders (most probably Chinese Qing dynasty) invaded and destroyed a whole town, killing all males & imprisoning boys. Some girls could not stand this, so dressed as boys, get on the horses, took their swords, bows & arrows, and marched towards the enemies. They saved the town,and boys; but at the end, their true identity were revealed by a traitor. They were then hanged by the receding invaders. .. They were buried & graves were regularly visited as holy warriors; over time become a shrine that close to tomb of a saint. There were a couple of desert poplars around the grave, located in the desert, which was located some 80 km from Kashgar. There were a simple cottage made from mud & clay, with simple sleeping place, basic food and water;visitors can stay, eat and sleep. There was one guy,rumored to have lived there all his live, caring for the grave & visitors, day & night. It probably has been destroyed by the Chinese government recently (between 2017-now), considering the fate of shrines & monuments in other places.
He died while in a Chinese concentration camp. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Pray for the release of all uyghurs from Chinese concentration camps.

Could someone help me out, I'm a bit confused, and please excuse my ignorance. I'm Turkish but live in England so I don't know a lot about this, but how come the Uyghur language shares so many similarities with Turkish? For example kizlar means girls in Turkish too.
Here I go, replying to a 6 year old comment: Basically Turkish and Uyghur are related. Both are Turkic languages while Turkish belongs to the Oghuz branch of Turkic languages and Uyghur belongs to the Karluk branch.
