Most folks don’t watch videos past like 90 seconds it seems from the statistics that TH-cam gives me, so I try to keep videos under 3 mins. This was a great soundtrack that really set the mood for one of my favorite movies from my high school days!

John C thanks! I been building the home studio for a while looking for deals in eBay. The Hamer is a mid-90s MIK..very close to the original American studio. I use Mixcraft for my DAW, and a Zoom R24 SD recorder because I am a bit old-school and like to mix by hand. Arturia powers my soft synths-I love their individual patch packets that are inexpensive and model the analog synths I grew up with. Also this is one of my all-time favorite movies!

It has the best models of all the 70s and 80s analog synths. Another big advantage is you can buy additional inexpensive patch packages that focus on certain sounds. I use the Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode packets that are under $10 each, and contain up to 30 patches that nail the old recordings perfectly. Thanks again!
