I am running Transient Structural Analysis on a cantilever beam while putting sinusoidal loading on the tip of free end using multi-time step but on the force output, I am not getting sinusoidal deformation values. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

Actually I use abaqus. Thr is no way to provide line load on a 3d plate. Only way is to divide suface into small areas like you have shown and apply pressure. Not line load. Any way to tackle it? Any suggestions will be helpful

GRS CAD/CAE Thank you but here I am confused because in static structural you can define loads as a function of time and solve the problem. Other than that what about the time steps in static structural? we can manipulate stuff there too.
Multi step load in static analysis used to study load case combination. It is not created for applying a time varying load. Even if you apply, it will not have any effect on it because, inertia is not considered.
