People need to listen to y'all!!! I was on a VV sailing last Friday, and so many people missed the ship due to the CrowdStrike fiasco. I'm so glad I listened to my internet cousins and flew in the Thursday night before the cruise. Also, I followed your advice and purchased trip insurance, which a lot of folks who missed the cruise didn't have. Yall can do a separate video on this because "seasoned cruisers" missed out because they were trying to save $$$ and ended up spending way more in the end. We appreciate you!!
This is great insider information. I’ve never been on a cruise before so this was really complete advice. I would be flying to port anyway, so the luggage guidelines would have to follow for airline as well.
I love level 8!!!! It glides like no other. I got the 20” and just bought the voyager 26” I love the wide handle and no bars inside so you can pack more :)

Just got through packing a granddaddy luggage, much like level 8, but it was well over 50 lbs., what happens if your dinged for very overweight luggage? I packed it with a fan and my husband and my clothes and that’s it but it was way overweight.

Porters are LONGSHOREMEN - - - So yes tip them (cruise lines says $1 a bag for a reason) They get paid by the cruise line $75 an hour!!! ($75 x 8 = $600) plus your tips!!!
Only porters that are rude (and it’s not all but a lot) is at SF Bay.. never heard the complaints about not taking luggage because someone didn’t tip what you wanted them to, or cussing ppl.. but yea overall.. TIP THEM FOLK!! Yall know yall packed too dang much 😂
The porters are very nice and informative. I tip well but my luggage arrived wet…water dripping in the hallway. Who’s at fault? The porter I tipped or the cruise line I paid? It was the cruise line that took care of us after this disaster. Not the porter.

No they must be carried on but you can put them in a bag, luggage etc. They’ll toss them in your checked luggage that’s hand to the porters
