If 🎶anybody🎶 wants to see a particular test that I didn't already perform, please let me know and I will try to add it. 🦀 I try to cover the basic functions!
Just discovered the beep can be quieted by holding down the NCV/LIVE button for several seconds. Still works normal for alerts but doesn’t beep on button presses. Beep comes back if you repeat the process or cycle the power.
I was attempting to activate beeping on diode test. Instead, the unit went silent. At first I thought I froze the device! Then I played around a bit more and things made sense. This is not in the manual. 😊
🎶Everybody!!!🎶 That's a really nice cheap-o, a few little quirks but nice big bright display and jaw capacity. I'm another Uni-T 210E owner otherwise I'd definitely consider it! Love those EBTN displays, recently got a 'ZL12B' pen multi-meter from AliExpress with one, not the best but a forgiveably good el-cheapo 😸
Yay! DC amps! Woohoo! I wish you would have checked how fast it can read current, a fellow got a Uni-T clamp that struggles to read peak currents even with the peak mode on, because it has an abysmal refresh rate! Nice screen, but how long would it last on a charge since the backlight has to stay on...atleast it is rechargeable, and can probably take a larger battery!
Great question...battery life really depends on the user..a pro would probably have to recharge a couple times a week, avg user maybe once a month or longer. 👍
Big jaw, big screen and slim shape - just how I like it. Another feature that I personally find quite useful is the screen rotation. Saves you the trouble interpreting your readings upside-down. All in all, a solid meter with a cool design. Love the review. ❤
Thanks for the review. I saw another video where this multimeter was offered for $40-100, and I was looking for a review and comparison, especially with UNI-T. I’m loyal to UNI-T. I have the UT131B and UT203+.
@@KeepOnTesting I like the name crabby claw! 🦀 For a while I couldn't put my finger on what was so special about the shape. The claw's appearance and operation is exactly like a crab's pincers!🦀 I figure this geared double-action claw is going to be adopted more widely, since it is easier to actuate, opens wider, and is mechanically balanced. I also too noticed the buzzer proximity issue. They must have had a few heated meetings between the PCB designer and the case designer, ending with "we'll just cut a slot in the wall. Their compromise is a bit "how ya doin'" as Davy would say.
@@KeepOnTesting nice to know that internal battery is easily available and replaced. I hate disposable gadgets ie device s with internal lithium batteries that are not meant to be disposable after 4 years
⚠Careful, adjusters on clamp meters can be for factory setting of the DC current offset and require a complex procedure to set properly. TheHWcave covered this procedure for the UT210E, made my head spin. 😵💫

Thanks!! I bought it, I like so much.
Definitely a capable clamp!

@@pault6533 How did you find it out, from the manual or is it a universal setting?

Nice review. Thanks again
Cheers! 👍
Pretty good clampmeter. I do like the jaw capacity on it and the display. Thanks for the review.
Great jaws on this tiny clamp! Thx for watching my friend 👍

The 210E is hard to beat! Oh yea, those EBTN displays always make you smile!

Great 👍 points..that X-tra large jaw is definitely a game changer!
Can this clamp also be used with a 3phase-cable? (connected to a 3 phase water pump)
Good review, sir. Is this good for outdoor work?
I would say no as the outside display is subject to lots of glare..

With all the crabby claw shenanigans you were doing with it banged the piezo good! 😂
I was in a crabby mood 😅

@@KeepOnTesting Why do you need an air purifier in Canada? I've heard there isn't even dust settling on cars, due to snow covering everything?
@bhushan9066 well these igloos don't have much in the way of air flow, if ya know what I mean 😉 😜
Nice comparative review. Would the UT210E work for AC mA leakage purposes?
Yes indeed!
Interesting video of the Apex.
Some advertising for the 268B says it can measure leakage current.
Did you get to test that feature?
I didn't perform any leakage test but being a WinApex, it should perform satisfactory.
Can you do a leakage current test of about 5 or 10 mA?
That would help me decide on the purchase.
I need a clamp meter that can measure low current.
Sure thing. 😊
@@techgoperu928
You need a DC milliampmeter
Like Fluke 773
I was just looking at this meter.
Yes, the battery is easily replaced, 3.7v 750mah ..you can get it here: amzn.to/3DkrJbb

Trms ?
No TRMS. 😢
Best display; but, that “Left hand” display annoyed me. I hope they tighten up the measuring calibration. I hope they update this model
I'm pretty sure this clamp will get an update sooner than later. 👍
Don't use a motorized fan as a load, it produces a significant AC component.
True RMS meters should be able to get a hold of that part no problem...after all that is why true RMS is usually desirable.
Yes indeed. The 268b is probably sensitive enough to measure it in AC mode.
Trim pottentiometer inside.
@@Domnu. yes indeed...it was nice to see that trimpot!

Great point 👉 Paul!
Nice review, like usual. But I see really no point, to replace my ancient trustworthy Uni-T UT-210C. Slava Ukraini!
Absolutely no need to replace that 210C! It's still a great clamp and has better accuracy too! Heroiam slava!
