Omg 😭 I almost cried with relief when you crafted oxygen tanks and figured out food and water. You’re gonna love the Seamoth, I’m so excited! (It makes traveling deeper so much easier. When you run low on oxygen, you can just hop back into the Seamoth rather than going alllll the way to the surface)
*Dying of starvation* Me: Go catch a fish! *Goes on catching multiple fishes* Me: Just go cook the fish! You dont need multiple rn to prevent dying! *Starts scanning fishes* Me: OMG WHAT ARE U DOING!!!!! That was frustrating and hilarious at the same time xD
Glad to see you keeping this series going! I have 2 very important tips for quality of life while your exploring! 1: if your diving and there is no radiation around, make sure you wear your 'rebreather' mask. It decreases how fast you use oxygen at deep depths! It's a must or else exploring is tough. 2. In the settings there is an option called 'pause while in pda'. If you turn it on, you wont be losing any oxygen, food, water while in your PDA. The game is paused so you are safe until you exit the pda. My favorite subnautica moment is finding insane environments. Akin to your reaction to finding the island.
Glad to see you casually found out the bladderfish was used to craft water as if you didnt have 10 freakouts last episode over not knowing how to get water 😂
My favorite Subnautica memory is getting chased down by a (large organism), then coming back there in my (certain vehicle) and having a 20 minute battle with it at the bottom of the ocean. The spoiler protection will be removed when you find the things I'm talking about.
Time capsule someone playing this game though it was a nice equipment to have if someone else is swiming in the same situation as them so they put it in the time capsule for someone else to find it who is in need someday in this game you will be building your own time capsule with a photo and a massage for someone else online playing this game. Also i love that you are reading the logs and reading the scans. Trust me this game gets even better.
Go back to scan more things in the Degasi base (250) and scan somethings. There's enough things there to keep you living for days, and you might like a filtration system. (To turn on old locations you've already discovered, go to the pda and click on the third button, left from the picture and right from the wrench.) Oh, and time capsules have information inside them too, there's a section in the pda databank for them.
(As of the time this video was posted) He still has to clear the radiation before he can use the rebreather there. He used half his oxygen just reaching the place
Dude im so excited for you getting into this game, just FYI you haven't even scratched the surface of what this game is. Can't wait to see more. And SCAN EVERYTHING!
So happy to discover that you continued playing the game! My favourite, non-spoiler memory from Subnautica was meeting the Reefback. I was so scared of the sound at first, but when I discovered that they were gentle giants, they became my favourites. I love their sound now, that low rumble makes me feel safe, since I know the giants are just chilling nearby. I love swimming with them just to say hello ❤
My favorite memory playing this game was in a later safe area of the game, looking up at night, and seeing nothing but darkness, with only the faint glow of a reck illuminating the ground.
Just because i hadn´t done that yet, i googled radiation, and well... The Radiation Suit in Subnautica can wihstand 400 sievert per hour. Is that a lot? In Germany the maximum permittable dose is 1 (one) millisievert (1000th) per year. The maximum permittable dose per lifetime is 400 millisievert. 3-4 sievert is 50% lethal after 3-6 weeks (i presume the other 50% going a few weeks later or wish they had). So yes. 400 sievert/hour is quite a lot. On the other hand, the suit is made for space too, which is radio central.
Favourite subnautica memory you haven’t hit yet but second is definitely discovering the floating island the first time. The Torgal crew has a special place in my heart, and the first time I found the island was a lot like yours, just in *awe* the ocean planet had LAND
You might have already found this out by now, but there’s a setting that allows you to have the game paused while you have the PDA open. That way you don’t have to worry about running out of oxygen while you’re reading data entries or checking your inventory.
I'm loving the series, yo. Fav (non spoiler) Subnautica moment for me would be building my first Seamoth, which should be your next objective, honestly 🤣 search the Kelp Biomes for the "Mobile Vehicle Bay" fragments and the Red Grass Biomes for the last Seamoth fragment. You'll need the MVB to build the Seamoth.
one of my favorite memories from playing subnautica is when I was trying to get to a life pod that was super deep and I kept psyching myself out at the edge of a cliff for sooo long haha. when I finally swam down I felt so accomplished😂
There's up to 7 Degasi logs and the rest are in both the purple area and the blue area you went to, but you really need more oxygen before going to those. (The 3rd log is somewhere on the island tho)
You have a really good intuition when saying you feel like the aurora is dangerous. Can’t wait for you to go there but first I suggest you get the sea moth.
My favorite subnautica memory has to be hearing all the radio alerts in an isolated game. The small interactions are everything, and pda entries are also important btw
Bros gonna flip when he crafts a habitat builder. 😂 Haven’t enjoyed watching someone play video games this much in a while. Subnautica is easily one of the best games I’ve ever played. Definitely gotta keep the series going. Last thing, I love that you sit there and listen to the PDA’s and are interested in the lore. Easy Subscribe. Can’t wait for next vid. 👌🏼🔥
My favorite subnautica memory is the first 3 hours of playing, having no prior knowledge of the game. Probably the game I most wish I could play for the first time again.
Also tip I know I’m commenting a lot 1 take your time exist like coryxkensin did do what you want to 2. Try to OVER prepare not under prepare 3. You can build base that’s all and like I said earlier if you feel risky go as far as you can and swim down when it says dead zone creator edge yada yada it’s funny but save before hand
15:16 would definitely be the first time building a cyclops or the first time launching a Seamoth from a moon pool. Runner up, taking down a leviathan for the first time using the Prawn grapple-drill combo.
You cut that moment from the video, but at 15:30 or so I was glad to see you finally picked up on eating and drinking until you're full, instead of just one mouthful each time you approach death 😹
you made some good progress this episode, you're definitely improving lot and you'll only get better as you find and build more. If you manage to find the last part of the Seamoth, it's a vehicle which can refill your air, has lights, and that doesn't cause you to lose oxygen faster at deep depths which is really useful for diving deep. And save some of the plants you found in those ruins, they can be planted later for food. And remember to search the shallow areas too, you can still find some very useful blueprints all over the place
I did the math, 99,999 years is about 11 n' a half years. Oh, and my favorite memory is a spoiler so I probably shouldn't say. You'll get there, maybe it'll be your favorite too.
My favorite Subnautica memory has to be from the second game during the open beta but I don't wanna give any spoilers. Long story short I swear I felt my heart skip a beat during a jump scare 😂

Hmmm, I would say, my favorite moment is [CREATURE SPOILERS!] riding ghost leviathans, by stunning them with the stasis rifle near the surface, then climbing onto them, and then just. riding them for as long as they stayed above the water's surface
15:17 when I met the reaper leviathan scared me half to death. Get it reaper… half to death. by the way, it eats seamoths’s for breakfast as said in its log
every time capsule you find are from other players who have completed the game, so when you complete the game a new player might find you'r timecapsule from this playtrought.
