Rad! I had the 07 Burton Malolo with his artwork - it’s still one of my favorite graphics & wish I still had it. Was cool to see the orange tree piece from that board hanging on his wall here.
love this dude. did a residency at my mom's school and hooked me up with cuatros suenos pequenos. jai tanju did this awesome photo print exchange program that was badical and i was part of that. jason adams' label kills part is timeless and one of my favs. (watch if if you haven't already) thanks for a great episode.
I respect this guys way of life. Makes me wonder how different life must be for someone with no wife or kids to concern yourself with. I guess you dedicate your life to your art or craft.
Sammy Joe Louis hes married with a young daughter now. I grew up 5 houses up the street from him in Dana point since 1972. Rarely see or talk to him anymore.
Ed Templeton episode would be tight
Our friends at Skateboarder Magazine did one with him called "Raiders of the Archives" a few years ago which you can search and find on youtube.
Amazing! Agree with Thomas, skateboarding is less about contest and more about feeling of freedom.
