Ive bought several of these boxes, and Ive used them in many ways like table runners, a curtain for a weird sized window in my house, table cover under the glass in a circle side table, and even used them for belts to fancy up a pair of capris or shorts!
Nice box with a nice variety of scarves. This wasn’t my favorite out of all of the boxes but still a nice box. Scarves are my favorite thing to photograph and sell. I would list all but maybe 4 or 5? of the ones you received. A lot of the scarves I sell are unbranded and/or don’t have any materials tag but still sell well. You just need to describe the scarf really well. My scarves sell for anywhere between $12-$30ish with an average around $22ish. I have never got free shipping on my boxes and feel it’s well worth the extra shipping cost.
Hi Amanda It is so cold in my church also So maybe wash some up and take them to the church. We have a side room to keep them in . If anyone is cold we go grab one. Loved your show
Scarfs in the north part of America are very popular...the Paisley ones you received get sold for very high prices... When you thought was garbage is made that way because in the fall people want a little color so they will use a very light airy pretty color scarf to wear with an outfit... I hope you don't throw any of them away... Because there are a lot of people who really love scars up here...
I would never throw something away (minus the one that was truly garbage, maybe it looked better on the screen, but it was handmade and quite literally falling apart and just gross) I would donate locally as we have lots of shelters and such. If there are any worth listing I will! Thanks for watching :)
I've ordered 2 of these before over a year ago. One box did really well more than made my money back the 2nd box not so well. I haven't ordered a 3rd & don't plan too.
The White House, Black market is likely atop it goes over a tank. I have several that are similar styles. I have no idea How it will sell but they are awesome to wear
Hi thanks for sharing! I think scarves would sell if you style it on a dress form and drape it many ways. With a blazer, tied on the handle of a purse like a tassel. Also for the bright colored on that had a lot of wear and thinning, list it using the words boho and curtain up cycle because people are creative.
Our style encore...that just reopened in january after moving and being closed for two years...closed on monday this week out of the blue!!! I am soooo sad!!
The square scarf is definitely a scarf. You can tie it around your neck like a stewardess or on your purse as decoration. I like putting them on my purses & changing them out. Im a new subscriber.

The second scarf (pink/brown stripe) looks like it has a small gold tag on it- possibly with the brand. Looks like it could be like Michael Kors type tag. I couldn’t zoom in enough to see. You may want to recheck that one.
that one is cute - and yes there is a tiny sliver where a tag was cut but I am 99% sure it wad old navy or gap. but that one is definitely cute enough my daughter wants it :)
For some of the smaller and lighter weight scarves you could try styling them with a handbag in photos... you know how some people wrap around a scarf or handkerchief thing around the handle or hang it off the side of their purse.
What a fun box… you could totally make gypsy curtains out of them… I love making them ❤️ also adding scarves to purses are so fun and vintage scarves sell for sure ❤️ a lot of people collect scarves sometimes I also use scarves to make a fun wall decor just hanging them up ❤️

The 100% viscose made in PRC fall colors I would list for $19.99 and accept $12 or above. The Infinity scarves I lot up in pairs of two, usually a black and one other $19.99 and again I accept offers usually at $12 or above. I live in Wisconsin last year I purchased three scarf boxes. I let my sisters, my daughters, and my nieces go through them first and take what they wanted. Only one had to be thrown away and the rest I listed as singles or lots of two. Coming into fall it is the perfect time to list them
I mentioned over on Kristen D.'s unboxing that I grabbed two of these when there was the free ship deal, and it was interesting. It sure illustrated a wide variety of things folks send in. LOL Some great, some honestly puzzling. Yep, lots without tags. I'm also in a "warm weather in the winter" place, so I harvested from mine a few nice little silk/silky ones for using as suggested to bundle gift wrap. Donated a ton, and got a poncho. LOL I can see some used as table scarves, maybe. It was my first time with these, also.
interesting is absolutely the right word! for the price - I think its great if someone is crafty or simply loves to wear scarves. even an old navy scarf these days is probably $20. for a reseller like me in florida - i dont think i would buy again. thanks for watching!
Hey Amanda. Love your videos! I have sold a few scarves. I had a bunch of Knit hats and scarves I didnt wear that had come from GW at some point so I lotted them up and they sold on Posh. I sold an AEO wool blend aztec scarf on posh for 15 dollars a handspun knit wool vintage scarf on Posh for 25 dollars and an Anthropologie basket weave blanket scarf on Posh for 20. I would lot up similar ones and list if it were me.
I'm thinking you could recoup some $ with the blue fringey plaid paired with the yellow clueless. Then pair up that embroidered with those larger square sheers and sell them as boho bedroom swag curtain-type do-dahs. The rest unfortunately I'll probably be seeing in the bins. Fun video nonetheless.
I do sell some scarves from the bins but wouldn’t pick up ones without brands to sell. Sometimes I grab little ones to wrap bundles or expensive sales in but these are kind of bulky for that sadly
I wear scarves. There were 6-8 in there that were pretty and in good enough shape to resell or that I would consider purchasing. Fun to watch thred up boxes
I think you should just give your girls the scarves to use in their dance classes as costume props or for dress up fun. Otherwise I would only list the embroidered one and as a desperate measure, lol.
that was my original sentiment for sure - now I am inclined to spend an hour of my time to just list them in bundles and see what happens. Now when...dont ask that ha!

Good idea, I feel like if you like plaid you like it. Same with the "curtain" as I see it patterns, I am going to lot those up.
