I’ve gotten G.I.T and it’s been the best decision I’ve made when it comes to purchasing cologne. It can be worn anything and lasts long. A nice confident cologne!
lasts long?!? I bought mine from Creed botique in Rome, it lasts no more than 2 3 hours. No where near my Bleu de Chanel EDP which lasts almost whole day.
Just got my sample decant. And wow it smells amazing. I sprayed my wrist and I immediately said wow this smells amazing. Very masculine kinda foresty at times in my opinion
Such an amazing classic, its my favorite Creed. I have that 120ml bottle too, i think its a 2015 or 16 batch, great performance and a definite mood booster 👍
Their bottle designs speak simple classy timelessness, not loud but still confident. Silver Mountain Water and Original Vetivier have my favorite bottles.

Chanel Platinum Egoiste smells similar to this especially in the opening, it’s also very high quality it’s a great alternative. The chanel however stays the same throughout and keeps that green note the entire time which is what makes it different as GIT has a dry down that smells very different from the opening, it’s a masterpiece.
Hey! thanks for the video! do you think this one has been reformulated as Aventus or have a "batch" issue? and what do you think of Royal Myfair ? (its seem Creed has decided to discontinued this one). Thanks!
Not sure if you found your answer elsewhere but as much as I love royal oud, it smells a little too mature and also not a conpliment getter. Git is better.
Hey Dallas, I have a batch from 2015 and it smells so powerful, natural fresh and green. I decided to get a 50ml late 2019 as my 2015 bottle only has about 20 ml left. Smelling the 2019 batch, it literally smells like a different fragrance compared to the 2015 batch, no bright fresh natural opening, it still smells greenish but it smells sweeter and soapier, much closer to the tre nuit i picked up... was a little dissapointed tbh with the newer smelling one. Have they reformulated this scent like aventus, if they have, they definitely have made it lose some uniqueness in the powerful opening.
Yes I believe they have reformulated in same way they did aventus. I think the 2017 batches and beyond aren’t good anymore compared to the old stuff. I have a 2014, and when you smell it, you literally can picture the “walk through the Irish countryside” like they meant haha
I honestly believe Creed fragrances need to mature for weeks or even months I bought Aventus and it smelled like moss only I got none of the pineapple notes……months later I sprayed it again and then the pineapple note appeared
I just don't feel Green Irish Tweed. I straight up compared it to Aspen from Coty and the Green Irish Tweed wasn't better, if anything Aspen is the superior fragrance.
I smelled GIT after buying a sample, since its vibe and notes were really interesting. Honestly, I did like it, moderate projection/longevity, refined smell but is it worth 250€? No way. In my opinion, if you are going to spend that kind of money on a fragrance, you have got to buy Aventus as the fragrance king. Anything else is money down the drain (not that 350€ for Aventus is not extravagant, but at least the mystic/status of Aventus compensates you a bit). PS Please stop buying Cool Water thinking that it smells like GIT. It does not, not even in the slightest, and you keep alive a really mediocre scent thinking that you smell like you wear a 250€ fragrance.
