    Here you can find the most beautiful music you will ever hear. Some of the tracks can be classified as classical or ethnic music.
    Remember... the music tells a story... a story that is more powerful than any hand-written text. Words are weak and often meaningless. Words can describe different objects and events. But can they directly transfer feelings?
    Here comes the music. The music itself is one complex collection of emotions. All you have to do is just to listen and feel... feel every sound you hear, feel every story that's behind these sounds.
    I managed to collect the most beautiful and the most emotional tracks from all of the main Assassin's Creed games (that exist until this moment). Tracks are sorted according to the game release dates. In the video I labeled all of the historical periods and places that tracks represent.
    00:00:00 Act 1: Jerusalem, 1190 (AC 1)
    00:03:09 Act 2: Florence, 1476 (AC 2)

    01:06:33 Act 8: The Caribbean Sea, 1715 (AC 4)
    01:19:57 Act 9: New York, Hudson River, The North Atlantic, 1752-1761 (AC Rogue)

    The extended version of this playlist is finally here (short description and link below).
    First of all I want to thank you for the support, for the positive comments and for the feedback.
    Honestly I didn't expect that this video will become so popular...
    As there were some remarks about this playlist, I managed to create a second newer version of it. I managed to extend this one and to capture the authentic atmosphere of the different Assassin's Creed games in a better way. In Vol. 2 I have extended the AC 2, AC Rogue and AC Origins sections and completely reworked (extended as well) the AC 1, AC 3, AC 4 and AC Unity sections. I added the most beautiful tracks from AC Valhalla to the playlist as well (they were composed mainly by Sarah Schachner, Jesper Kyd and Einar Selvik). The spirit of Volume 2 is exactly the same as the spirit of this one except that it is a little bit more mysterious.

    From now on both playlists will be available on my channel. I hope that there won't be any copyright strikes on this video or on Volume 2.

      @Trekki200 3 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      Yeah. The game was brilliant as it was released, but it isn't as detailed as the newer ones (especially in Brotherhood a lot of the archaeological details are off in ways they aren't in the newer ones). And the controls got massively better around origins as well (the controls n the Ezio series are ok, certainly better than the ones in 3 - Unity but they aren't as good as in the new ones).
      That said, I think the first one needs it even more, because there many things are quite finicky.

    I'm sorry, no disrespect to any of the other AC games, but there's just no competition between AC2 and the rest. It's a masterpiece. Simple, elegant, a story worth of a movie, a relatable character that wasn't a perfect assassin, simply a crazy teenager with a thirst for revenge, that didn't fully embrace the assasin's ways until later on the game, and an OST worth of an Oscar. Definitely the best game by far. And Italy in the renaissance period... what else can I ask for.

    • @grk31fr44
      @grk31fr44 3 ปีที่แล้ว +49

    AC 1, AC 2, AC: Brotherhood and AC: Revelations were pure classics and followed the storytelling of the 3 main characters (Desmond, Altair and Ezio) from beginning to each of their respective ends. Is a bittersweet to remember the good times. 😢 I miss Desmond Miles so much.

    • @nickkohlmann
      @nickkohlmann 3 ปีที่แล้ว +31

      Same. Exactly my all time favourites. Revelations was the last one where I really felt it. The next one I played was AC3 and it felt terrible. Next was AC4, felt like a really cool pirate game but far from any AC experience. Then I played Syndicates, and that was where I lost all hope.
      I completed the game almost 100%, but it is literally more a GTA clone in a different setting than anything close to AC.

      @@jhaneman1231 yes but I’d prefer the quality of background music, not necessarily a single score, like in AC Syndicate, which i think deserves more credits than given, had a nice touch on background music. I don’t really remember any specific melody but I can still remember those violin being played during the game, especially the one starts playing when you climb up to the synchronization points. So I guess I’m trying to say that I love the feeling when a certain melody got linked with a certain gaming memory, so that every time I think about them I can literally “hear” the memory.

Valhalla though, don’t satisfy me, I remember there were many moments during my play-through when I noticed that there’s no bgm at all, and the moment I realized that is also the moment my mind got distracted from the game itself. And when I think about Valhalla I also remember those weird no-bgm blanks.
      For the record I do like Valhalla as a game, and I know there’s a piece that Jesper mixed the Ezio’s family melody with some Viking styles, but for some reason that piece was not played in the game, or at least to my knowledge was not. If only they had put that piece in the game and play it more frequently like in Odyssey, I really think it would have made the game even better.

      Yes, I definitely agree. In general Lorne Balfe composes great soundtracks. Balfe is an apprentice of Hans Zimmer and he has worked on many famous movies like Mission: Impossible - Fallout, The Dark Knight (additional soundtrack), Ghost in the Shell and so on...
      I think that the main problem why AC 3 is not generally liked is because it is the game right after the Ezio's trilogy. It was almost impossible to top it. AC 3 also feels sometimes unfinished. The ship gameplay was almost unused during the storytelling of the game. I think that they had big plans with it like in AC 4 but somehow abandoned it during the process of making the actual game. In general AC 3 is very good game, the story is very deep and Connor is one of the most badass assassins of all. AC Rogue adds a completely new meaning to AC 3 as well
