    Your comment on the quality of the machining is so true. Their kits are such a joy to build. Even if you didn't fly RC, these would be worth building just for display. SAB is killing it.

      They really are! I still my Align as well! Can’t wait to build more SAB kits. Kraken next!

      @@westhobbiesrc8051 I think of Align as like the Chevy of 3d helis. Excellent value. But it's fair to say that SAB is earning the extra price.

      The directions are so insanely good with Goblin helicopter, the biggest benefit is the confidence to start. I just built my first (RAW 700 KSE), I was blown away. I will definitely buy more products from SAB.

      Thank you! There is ALOT it parts in a heli! Tons of moving parts as well! That’s why it’s super important to make sure everything screw that needs loctite has it. Can’t lose anything!

  • @mattdbot

    Just a tip when building the head… put the blue loctite inside the feathering shaft threads… that way when assembling, you don’t get any on the thrust bearings.
    Great video

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, some times I do that and some times I put it on the feathering shaft bolts, if you don’t know to much Loctite you won’t have to worry about it getting into the thrust bearing, or at least I have not had to worry lol

    Are the retainer compound, locktite and Microlube included in the kit, or do you have to buy them separately ?

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No they are not included in the kit you do have to purchase separately. You can use any retaining compound Loctite and lube of your choice. I went off of what the manual calls for and you can find that on any site that sells the kits. All of this came from Heli direct.

  • @Twx97

    what are the things and tools i need to build this kit
    and does the Hota d6 duo pro charge 12s batterers for this heli+ do you recommend the EC5 or another connector

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Will need your basic tool sets all of your 1.5 through 3.5 mm drivers you will need all of your retaining compound Loctite grease some odds and ends sets of pliers bowling pliers your normal helicopter tools. This helicopter can be set up from 6S to 12S your choice. EC5 is not a bad connector personally I’d rather use XT90s on 6s and 8mm bullet on 12s

    Hi Nice video, can I ask what charger you use to charge your lipo batteries, and do you suggest a DUO charger when starting with this hobby ?

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a few different charges but my main is a Thunderpower TP820 that they don’t make anymore. Any charger that has a output of around 20 A will be good. It really depends on what you are trying to charge and how many. ISDT make great chargers as well
