It's song's like this that make me pine for my 80s childhood, lol. Such a great and uplifting song. Definitely needs to be in an 80s top 100 list, imho.
This song comes along with a great memory for me. I added it to my iPod just before my senior trip to Europe, and found myself singing it along on the bus trip along the Mediterranean Coast. Instead of getting scolded by my classmates, my teacher told me to plug my iPod into the bus's PA system, and we wound up singing along to the song as a class! There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the sea was sapphire blue, and nothing could ruin the moment as we sang. Still is one of the best memories of high school I have
Love it! I love your alternative 80s reaction but fun to watch you share the hits of the 80s with Ty as well. This song reminds me of such good times, a great childhood and in the same breath, the songs All I need is a miracle by Mike and the Mechanics and In your wildest dreams by the Moody Blues.
Richard Page has one of the best voices in rock! Didn't know anything about the band when this came out but it was on the radio a lot. Loved it. I would have been 13/14. Great times! There is a fantastic live version of this song featuring Richard Page, Steve Lukather and Ringo Starr + more. An absolute All Star band playing this fantastic song. th-cam.com/video/jx10QXvhhL8/w-d-xo.html
Listen to you 2 faithfully. Love anything 80's.
Good tune!..fun to play on the drums
The intro on the song sends chills down my spine everytime.
I love that Ty has his eyes closed and is just letting the music wash over him.

I used to love Mr.Mister; their first 2 albums, especially the first.
Did ya catch the drummer flinging his sticks at the end?
Mr mister is great new Wave band from L.A. in the midd 1980's
