My local route, been using this railway for years now, I never would of thought they would of added this route into the game, shocks me how much detail there is, and how they got it right
24:50 The round tower is Warbreck Hill Water tower. I grew up pretty much next door to this line and the scenery modelling is amazing and extremely accurate. However, there are a couple of glaring mistakes for me on this line for the year this is set (apparently 1986). The buildings @25:18 to the right just before the road bridge at Layton Station is modelled on Crossley Brothers sawmill, which also gave the bridge it's name of Crossleys Bridge. These buildings were long gone, having been demolished in 1980 and replaced with a B&Q DIY store, and the old Coaling station and remains of the lines to the original Blackpool North Terminus were also demolished and redeveloped into a supermarket later turned into a bingo hall and are correctly modelled on the Trainsim Classic version of this line that is set pre electrification.
@TheBritishAce Layton Station is still open to passengers. It's just now unmanned. The ticket office and waiting room were still open at the time the line is set, but as I said, it later closed in 1994. There were moves to try and get it reopened a few years ago, but it never happened. I think the building is now a private residence.
The 47 with the big BR sign is called BR large logo. Or just large logo. You get the guard whistle on the 47 services if it has a baggage coach attached. .. apparently.
Haven't seen videos of you for a while so that one was nice to see. I might buy that add-on but atm its too expensive in my opinion. Take care and see you next time :)
Two things when shutting off power don't go back to 1 then off allow the amps to drop under 1000amps then you can shut off not when the amps are dropping from 3000 or 2000amps, Second the brake release is enough using Overcharging is not necessary, Overcharging the brake is used while in motion to open the brake blocks to equalize the system so all brakes work as one, also the NTP loco used to charge the brake on when you did that but these Blackpool DLC locos have had that sorted. but in real life the overcharge is to make the braking system work efficiently. Shame that the start of a 47 doesn't have a black column of clag shooting up 20 feet when starting as all 47 did in BR days in game. but the idle smoke looks good.
At Blackpool North you left the train with the loco brake on only, you didn't dump the train brake into emergency to make the train safe, not very ace in my mind.
I guess if they can do Preston to Blackpool then they can go the other way to Colne in a future route. Even better if it was the days prior to it closing off the Skipton end.
Hi, at 8.00 when you went for the flyby how are you able to speed the camera up the track way ahead of the Loco? I'm on Xbox Series X on my camera moves way to slow to get ahead of the Loco to make a good flyby unless the train is only travelling 20mph or so.
Which machine are you playing this on? You can probably tell from me question that I’m no gamer. I was thinking buying a games machine solely for Train Sim.

Also Layton Station is showing as closed. However at this time it was still manned. Closing in 1994
Great bit of local knowledge 👍😀 Didn't realise Layton was no longer about

@@TheBritishAce Thanks.
I prefer to remove the hud. Just use the top info. Once you’ve learnt the route game becomes more realistic.
What do u think of this route
Amazing
