Where do you get your labels

Nice video, easy on the ears. I'd listen to onger videos.
Question:
1) would putting your home address as the manufacture be a good idea?
2) do i need insurance to sell pet treats, manufacturer insurance?
I appreciate the feedback :)
1) My state, California requires the address where the treats are manufactured, along with other info for customers to contact me. I have my email, phone number and social media accounts listed on my label. If a customer should have any question or concern about the treat they've purchased from me, I want to make it as easy as possible for them to contact me. I didn't have to put all that info. It was my choice. Check with your state to see what contact info is required.
1) No insurance is needed to sell or manufacture treats (in California). Not having insurance though is a risky decision for obvious reasons. I use FLIP insurance. If a dog gets sick as a result of eating one of my treats, I'm covered. Well worth it. Plus, depending on where you sign up to vend, the organizer may require a copy of your insurance in order for you to sell there.
Where are you in your dog treat journey? Best of luck!! - Kara
@PawsitiveProfit I am at the beginning stages of creating my recipes for both cat and dog treats. I am interested in freeze-dried treats due to their longer shelf life and nutritional value.
@PawsitiveProfit how much do you pay to get a guaranteed analysis done on each treat? Do you need one for each size bag you make?
Hello! I apologize for the delay. Just now seeing this. I don't know anything about freeze dried treats but I'm very curious also due to the longer shelf life!
You need a guaranteed analysis for each 'recipe' you have. We are are talking about the finished product here. A plain peanut butter recipe needs a guaranteed analysis. If you decide to ice those peanut butter treats, you will need to send it in for it's own guaranteed analysis, because the finished product is different because you added icing and changed the recipe for the end product. I hope that makes sense.
