Looks like you were all having fun talking about Memphis. I think the key piece that you overlooked is that the re-built Pacific Division is now the fifth best conference in college football. They can add Sacramento State and still be 5th best. Memphis has relegated themselves to a minor conference by saying no. I get the travel problem. Look at UW losing to Rutgers this weekend. I think Memphis has just missed a great opportunity. They would have been welcomed by the western teams. I hope that the Pacific Division finds a way to sweeten the offer and help them out.
Don't turn down the invite, negotiate for a better deal. How does the decision look now with Gonzaga in the the PAC 12? BTW, Washington State is NOT on the West Coast. (It's about as close to the Pacific as Memphis is to the Gulf of Mexico.) The only school actually on the coast is San Diego State.
Very disrespectful to the Pac12 calling it fake. “Not the same” might be better to say. The Memphis Tigers would have a rough time playing the competition it would see in your so called “fake pac12”. Yall ain’t Alabama so no need to disrespect others.
So stay in a stagnant conference? no one on the panel with a different opinion? itll be hilarious if memphis ends going to the pac or watch Tulane make the jump without them
this was an intelligent segment.......the PAC 12 only paying 2.5 mil ?...crazy...plus the travel costs for all sports.....and it's NOT the REAL PAC 12....I'm a UNLV fan but I think it's a bad deal for MEMPHIS.
PAC will be a awesome conference you watch

Memphis doesn't need the Pac. Neither does Tulane, USF, nor UTSA. It's the G5. Claiming relegation is a bit much for a majority MWC Pac.
So stay in a bad conference?????

The question is did the AD counter pac12 offer?
He did not and that’s really the question here.
He didn't bc he thought he can outsmart PAC and the fans
The Zags are in the PAC, better rethink it.
horrible segment. Every person is one the same side.
