    Great work! Yes, some tiny little components can prevent a nice amplifier from working.

    I am repairing this amp now. The main digital PCB is shourted. The power board that this video is about should produce 5v standby power. It does when unplugged from the digital board but does not when plugged in.

    Hi, I have a Denon x5200h and I unplugged it to plug in a different unit then when I tried to power it back on I got absolutely nothing! I have the cover off, what now

    I paid a local audio repair person $139 just for him to tell me sorry no parts available for AVR-X5200W and we can't solder SMDs. My standby light won't come on after a power surge. My fuses are not blown but has a short on the same board.

    This might actually help sadly, I spent almost $100 sending this equipment back to New Jersey and they are telling me that the whole board is shorted
