Wii Memories: Photo Channel

- Hey everyone! Decided to make this random video today! I want to give you all some nostalgia from one of my favorite channels back in the Wii days, the photo channel.
With the slot of your SD card or your Wii message board, you can view your photos from them. The way the channel delivered was absolutely phenomenal. I used this channel to look back at my highlights from my DSi days when I constantly took pictures from it (I got in December 2010).
The fun feature was definitely the best portion of the experience. You can use certain filters with your pictures, you can doodle and draw on your picture, or you can even challenge yourself to a puzzle. It goes up to 48 pieces, but I found an exploit that if you press the 1 button on your Wii remote when you're about to choose a puzzle, it can go up to 192 pieces! How amazing and hard is that?
I actually did the slideshow with the nostalgic music and I have to say, I nearly shed a tear. It's amazing how far the Wii and I really went. It's pretty cool that the channel is still operating to this day, unlike WiiConnect24 and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, which is always cool.

My childhood... I never had mario kart images or Galaxy images. I had pictures of my family when we were really young.
ohhh my god the super mario kart and galaxy pictures were my fucking childhood. I would doodle and play the puzzles for hours
I remember when I was 6 and I would always scribble different colours on a random picture and call it a “pizza” 😂
When I had the old wii back for a year I done the same thing and I felt like I was young again

Oh my God I remember this so clearly. In 2011, I used to be scared of the rocket thingy. I would always cry lol or scream.
ahhh even though I'm 10 years old I remember playing this since I was 4 years old. good times of this game... looks like its coming to a close soon though

I bought Wii , and didn’t even try to download channels like this. Because I didn’t use Wii and used Wii U. Now I’m sad so I didn’t enjoy these moments. But I still have nostalgia…

The zap is negative colours. It would absolutely terrify a fly as it may get zapped by some mean insect zapped when the photo goes to zap. Poor fly.

Install homebrew on your virtual Wii and the install the .wad file found on the web
I had this dream where there was a button on the Photo Channel start screen saying Delete Photo Channel. So I clicked it then this button came up saying “Are you sure you wanna delete? This will remove all of your photo’s” so I clicked yes, and then the screen fades to black... After 5 seconds you could here a sped up version of the Puzzle Complete song but it gets slower and slower, then a text box appears and says “Delete progress: Complete” and then when you open the Photo Channel, all of your photo’s will be gone. So that was a weird dream.

I'm just wondering why there wasn't any connectivity between this and the DSi camera. I know you can insert the DSi SD card into the Wii, but a wireless communication would be easier and you could look at photos from system memory without having to copy them from System Memory
The DSi came out years after the Wii. Nintendo didn’t really ever update the built-in Wii channels.
Nonetheless, that’s a pretty good idea.

Hello, please I need help.
Today I booted my wii and found random photoes on my Wii message board.
Some cartoons, a Kid with a ps4 controller, Minecraft screenshots, some superheroes, an old musician and a graceyard.
I never put anything similar on it and, even if my wii is modded, the photoes came on september/october 2022 (but I'm seeing them just now)
Can anybody help me delete them, please?
Edit: I found out how and I'll leave the message for anybody who had the same issue as me.
The photos are from the Check Mii Out channel and you can delete them going on the date shown in the photo channel thanks to the Wii message board.
