Chevy really needs to do something about that matte plastic around the gauges, navigation unit and dash...it really cheapens the look of a otherwise nice car

You can find these almost new GS Vettes all day long for as low as $ 55K
True, but most at that price are the 1LT trim level that does not have the heads-up display. Only the 2/3LTs have the HUD and they run above $60K for a used one. It's hard to go back to a non-HUD once you've had it.
Please HUD is just a buying gimmick to get you to jump up to a 2LT trim or better sucker bait

Chrome wheels in 2018,this interior looks like from early 2000 I like corvette but in europe for this money we have better equpt hatcback.Its too many plastic,

Big deal,Corvettes are a dime a dozen! Not a rare car at all. I see them every day here in Fort Worth.
Not literally a "Dime", but for how often we see'm, agreed. Unusual stand-out cars are like Shelby, Viper ACR, Nissan GTR, etc. Biggest problem for 'vettes is, most "pedestrians" cannot distinguish your $97,000 Z06 from a $55,000 base model on the street.

Coupydog I agree with you that the lay person really can’t tell between a stingray vs Z06. That’s what I’m going for though. I think you’d agree that bang for buck the z06 definitely wins. You can get a base model z06 for mid 70s vs the others which are north of 100. 650 hp...I’ll take it.
That may be true in Texas, but in San Francisco you'll see BMW, Porsches and Jaguars a dime a dozen but few Vettes. Besides, most cars are a dime a dozen, has nothing to do with advertising.
