his last show with woe, is me was in bloomington, il at castle theater this was the first of 3 headlining shows they did after they hoped off of warped, sucks that he left
I was informed that Fame Over Demise was written in the winter before Tim left. But they didnt release until the spring. I may have been misinformed and Geoffrey could have written the leads. But as far as I was told, Tim wrote the leads in the winter and it was released in the spring.
@soulslayerBLAST that's because they opened with the introductory breakdown of Vengeance. they prolly just didn't have lyrics to it yet, so they played the breakdown as a way to open their set.
you can just tell tyler is not happy here this is right before he left and if you look at him now and in the beginning of woe he looks much happier in the beginning
Issues is not a 2nd Woe Is Me. It lacks the guitar structure of Number[s]. Which was mainly created by Tim Sherill. Tim's last contribution to the band was Fame > Demise. From what I understand, Tim was the only member who didn't leave because of personal issues with Austin. He left because of different musical tastes.
@lukeee117 That beginning breakdown is exactly like it, but the fills and shit that Austin does is different, usually bands do an intro, then change it a bit into a new song (perfect example is Texas In July).
Issues need to re-record the numbers album and use it for their band now. They made this shit happen and it sucks it had to be ruined. Bring back numbers to issues!
@Gianna958 Because he doesnt like Metalcore music anymore or the lifestyle. He's going to pursue a solo career making R&B/Pop music. Something I saw coming as soon as I got into WIM. He pretty much just used WIM to get his name out there.
Well, Tyler left the Post-Hardcore scene to do Pop, did he not? That's a partial reason why he left. I'm sure there are more reasons behind it, but there is nothing we can do. He's gone.
Ben left because of personal reasons with Austin too. But as far as I know, each member has made peace with Austin and such. They got what they needed to get out.
However did Ben really leave because of personal issues with austin? Cause i've seen him do vengance live with the new line up, and also didnt ben and corey leave issues?
Tyler and Hance are both good singers. I don't blame Tyler for leaving to pursue his real dreams to make pop music. Tyler can hit notes that most post-hardcore bands can't reach. He can do falsettos with an R&B twist to it. He was the best singer in this genre. Hance is good as well, and he fits perfectly with WIM. Now everybody, move on and stop crying about who is better
If only they asked Austin to leave then Woe, Is Me would still be what it was when they first started. Tyler couldn't have made it much clearer that Austin was the reason for him and everyone else leaving.
Still watching this in 2020.
2023 there 🎉
Stop it!
I don't want you to comment that anymore. How many times I have to put it for you to stop! Millions keep doing it.
This legitimately makes me want to cry.
We used to go to war
@@TheStarvingEntrepreneurlol
RIP Woe, Is Me
Thank god this comment aged badly
the lead vocalist and the keyboardist sound great screaming together, I hope they keep that up
Why can't it be like this anymore :/
What I love about this this performance is that they are all doing they're own thing.
Watch the guitarists/bassist at 3:15.
Crabcore
when tyler enters any of issues/woe is me songs. He comes in with a bang. and he blows everyone away.
That intro was fucking insane.
I miss this too much:(
This is better then issues why did you guys split i love you guys xc
this was one of tylers last performance with woe, is me ):
Song of the year imo
his last show with woe, is me was in bloomington, il at castle theater this was the first of 3 headlining shows they did after they hoped off of warped, sucks that he left
that intro really sounds like the beginning to vengeance....
It is but in drop B
awesome sound dude
@kingvincedrums yes for the backtracking when they come to the stage but the instrumentals are from their new song, just in drop B
Woe, Is Me are only gonna get more and more popular. Everything about this band is amazing... and then theres Ben hahaha he's a beast. They all are!
Best intro EVER
YESSSS!
hahaha the intro is vengeance without any vocals :D
they have 2 of the original members in it now haha and i have a feeling one (kevin, the guitarist) might leave sooner or later
Justin Waldron you were wrong, Austin left and Kevin was in it until the end
tyler overpowers hance in every single way no doubt, and number[s] will be there best work, so many sick melodies
I was informed that Fame Over Demise was written in the winter before Tim left. But they didnt release until the spring. I may have been misinformed and Geoffrey could have written the leads. But as far as I was told, Tim wrote the leads in the winter and it was released in the spring.
@soulslayerBLAST The intro is the instrumental for #Vengeance.
@soulslayerBLAST that's because they opened with the introductory breakdown of Vengeance. they prolly just didn't have lyrics to it yet, so they played the breakdown as a way to open their set.
This show was the shit best one ive seen them at
tyler is short but a kick ass singer... role model right there... im 5' 4" and a singer and screamer
@guitarboytv They did a couple more shows that I know of in the next couple days after this.
Excision !! :)
Strobe lights + Woe Is Me = The future
this is sick
Fame over demise is in Drop B
no doubt about it dude
did anyone else noticed that the intro is the first verse in Vengeance? :)
the vocalist arguing war has finally reached this video. Damn
I think this is the last show with Tyler Carter. He left WIS August 10, 2011.
you can just tell tyler is not happy here this is right before he left and if you look at him now and in the beginning of woe he looks much happier in the beginning
i like how they started off with an excision song :)
their new guitarist absolutely kills it.
@RikkuChaser hahaha yeah does a bit, but saw wouldnt have a sick bass cannon!
Fuck yes, Existence VIP. Mad props to WIM.
@chickenbeforeegg it's a song by Excision. search Shambhala Mix 2010
That's intro is Vengeance without vocals!
I miss Tyler, so much...
Issues is not a 2nd Woe Is Me. It lacks the guitar structure of Number[s]. Which was mainly created by Tim Sherill. Tim's last contribution to the band was Fame > Demise. I hope Andrew has finally learned Tim's leads, it would be kinda pathetic if they kept playing with backing tracks.
Everyone that says Tyler is bad live, explain this concert. He's fucking great here. Tyler and Hance are good live. Argument closed.
pretty sure the intro is their new song
Fair enough.
that bryan stars interview tyler said the original guys were working on some stuff for the near future a WIM reboot perhaps?
That is one fucking beastly intro.
Tyler is so fucking talented. I am astonished everytime I see the dude rip that mic up.
I thought Ben was the one who did the electronics and samples?
i love how at 3:07 tyler goes crazy in the back!
@EmbermaniacXII andrew used to be in Abandon All Ships but when a member left before Warped Tour 2011 he came to WIM
Does anybody else realise the intro is parts of Vengeance?
@donaldeda YES I CAN. WOW.
@lukeee117 That beginning breakdown is exactly like it, but the fills and shit that Austin does is different, usually bands do an intro, then change it a bit into a new song (perfect example is Texas In July).
Crazy how this was the day before Tyler left the band
Fucking intense. I rememember Warped. I got so many chillls.
Is their intro a watered down version of vengeance?
it used to be there intro before they made it into a song that is vengeneng :)
Strobe lights make everything look cooler.
Do you have an Idea who can cover their Intro??or what Chords they just do to make that intro??? Please send me one...Thank You
How many people were in this band jeeze
At the time they had 7 members.
cool..
its fuckiing good...
awesome man..
Lol Excision in the intro
they're soooooooo much better live than they were
Issues need to re-record the numbers album and use it for their band now. They made this shit happen and it sucks it had to be ruined. Bring back numbers to issues!
you says the album our number[s] of woe is me to the band issues
@rtmconcerts who is their new Vocalist??
Tyler, I'm glad you are pursuing your dreams. Woe, is me is still a bad Ass band!
The intro is excision's existence, but after that its just them...
Andrew is the man
ok seriously who is their new guitarist now..
Michael and Ben
yep
@Gianna958 Because he doesnt like Metalcore music anymore or the lifestyle. He's going to pursue a solo career making R&B/Pop music. Something I saw coming as soon as I got into WIM. He pretty much just used WIM to get his name out there.
what tour is this from?
PS: Excision Shambhala Intro, nice!
Well, Tyler left the Post-Hardcore scene to do Pop, did he not? That's a partial reason why he left. I'm sure there are more reasons behind it, but there is nothing we can do. He's gone.
Aha intro for shambhala 2010 nice
really makes me sad seeing tyler in the intro not into it at all, im so glad he moved on and didnt continue like that
yes it sounds heavier because they play all the songs in a lower tuning because hance's vocal range is lower than tylers
Ben left because of personal reasons with Austin too. But as far as I know, each member has made peace with Austin and such. They got what they needed to get out.
This was like.. 6 days before Tyler left. You can totally see he doesn't wanna be there. =/
he is, tyler or Hance!? D:
Tyler
However did Ben really leave because of personal issues with austin? Cause i've seen him do vengance live with the new line up, and also didnt ben and corey leave issues?
3:06-3:07 Austin i so beast throwing up his drumstick & catching!!
@Jam2Evos Maybe it would,who knows!
Craig Mabbitt started The Word Alive and they kicked him out xD I'm sure that it's happened in a lot of other bands as well.
wait i thought they were on warped
Well Issues has more original Woe Is Me members than Woe Is Me does, so basically
Ben did it live, but I'm pretty sure Austin coordinated it
Tyler and Hance are both good singers. Now everybody, move on and stop crying about who is better
i cant believe they stole my idea for an intro haha
RIGHT
2017 :(
Austin started the band. They can't just ask him to leave lol. It's his band.
@Jam2Evos It souns more like SAW lol.
At first I thought they were playing Vengeance xD
lol vengeance at the beginning
If only they asked Austin to leave then Woe, Is Me would still be what it was when they first started. Tyler couldn't have made it much clearer that Austin was the reason for him and everyone else leaving.
