Great video! Makes 4 strokes seem easy, thanks. When my 06 450 was leaking up top i watched a video by a guy who worked for caterpiller. He used a cat assembly grease that was sticky and held that valve cover gasket in place.
Great, thank you so much ❤ I was used to your short videos by now. So.... suddenly getting 4 x 1 minute advertisements, from TH-cam, in a 20 minute video is nasty 😢
I just put together my motor yesterday and i see now ive missed some step to check like the D-comp pressure thing when checking clearance, now i will go back and check again. Does it matter which way I put my piston in? I remember i had a letter "R" on the ring and dont remember if i put it facing down or up is a wossner piston. Again really fast and informative video stright forward!! Thank you👍
This type of insight is priceless, thanks for showing us while staying very straight forward
Awesome job Chuck

I use Chrome with the ad blocker. Zero ads on TH-cam whatsoever. It’s also free.

Definitely matters.
@ChuckfromTrueTech I only have one compression ring aren't the letters for which is top or bottom compression rings?
Some wear on the cams by the journals.. how bad do they have to be before you'd consider replacing them?
I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen that unless there was a catastrophic failure due to oil starvation.
