Whoo speed booster, how helpful. First I tackle the beach, getting both the sign and Snorlax are simple things, Scyther really worked with me this time, almost no time lost trying to get him to appear. Chansey was a perfect picture somehow. I took two pictures of Scyther to align them correctly on the selection screen.
If you don't get the pokeflute after the beach, head to the Volcano, if you do take the Tunnel. Doing the Electrode dodge here is a pain, but pretty simple. Getting Pikachu to work is annoying too, I don't need good pictures anymore, so I get a bad Zapdos one, and then the sign. I always wait until the third flicker so that I don't accidentally miss the sign here.
The end run killer. The sign isn't all that hard to get, just don't throw an apple at the beginning, afterwards you need to cross the entire freaking level to hit the random generator. Not only are the hitboxes for the stupid craters random so is what comes out. 20+ min into a run this is not fun. I forgot to take two pictures of Growlithe/Arcanine so I had a slightly messed up selection screen. Charmeleon took awhile to run into the crater himself...
The river is easy, you need to drift to the right so Vileplume hears the pokeflute; otherwise it's a straightforward level.
The cave sign I could've gotten faster, but considering I was holding the dash engine, it isn't a problem. Jinx and Articuno take awhile to reach, but they are my last two pokemon before Mew. Articuno's picture is epic too.
The time difference between 100% and an Any% is about 2 minutes too, the Beach, Volcano, and Cave take a little under 2 minutes to get their extra pokemon. The Tunnel and River don't have this problem unless you miss Cloyster.

and I also think that if there was a sequel, it should have more courses, like this:
Plains,
Savanna,
Desert,
Forest,
Lake,
Ocean,
Seafloor,
Sky (flying around summits, tree tops, clouds, above the Plains, etc),
Mountain Range (no snow),
Snowy Mountain (like Route 216-217, Mt. Coronet, and Remake Mt. Silver),
Abandoned Amusement Park (mainly Ghost & Dark types),
Ancient Ruins (there's alot of them, hidden. You'd have to find them all before unlocking the course)

I keep taking the picture. But it doesn't register as a sign. I'm playing on project 64 emulator with xbox one Controller. Anybody have a solution?
If you do it too early in the game it won't register as a sign. It'll just be "?"
Hey where can i find the emulator that you are using? mine doesn't works, HELP!
I haven't been a part of the community in awhile, but no unofficial emulator works. This was either done with the Wii VC or using an N64, but it's been so long I can't remember and I didn't put it down in my notes.
