Yes it really sucks, because an FNP cured an ailment that MD’s failed me at. I saw 2 MD’s and 3 DO’s, almost became suicidal over the pain and anguish, until a 74 yr old FNP cured me, and with Non-Controlled Medication, and just off the labs and radiology, THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN DONE!!!!
She saved my life, my income, my dignity, my hope, my sanity, and I owe EVERYTHING to her saving “me.”

excellent and informative video. Love the camaraderie between these two. As a FNP i have a tremendously amount of respect for this resident doctor for his humility

    MD at 0:40 burns NP.
NP at 0:44 destroyed MDs existence. hahahaha (Good question NP)

Where I live in Florida you can do a BSN to DNP program with no experience just an active license. With that said universities are now switching to DNP as requirement instead of MSN. Also NPs can now practice independently as of this year with 3,000 hours of floor experience. Overall I think being an NP is the better option because you can prescribe and practice independently for approximately 6 years of school (less school debt than medical school!!!)

I don't think think that I should be charged the same doctor's fee, if I am seen by an NP...sorry

I genuinely loved this video. They both worked so hard for their title, you go guys! so motivating!!! student loans are killer though.

What? NPs dont get paid equally because their education is significantly shorter.

They do the same job, but med school is more competitive and NP education is way shorter than MD. I bet there’s some NP’s that get payed the same as physicians but have to work harder.

@@arieldevinci6118 literally the only similarity is writing prescriptions.
Can you tell me how the job is the same? Much more differences than similarities.

If NPs were willing to work 60-70 hours a weeks they could close their financial gap.
NPs prioritize 36-40 hour work weeks...
Attendings work about 60-80hours a week.

He says patients "Demote" female doctors to less than what they are by mistaking them for nurses? Does that mean you think being a nurse is a demotion from being a doctor? Nurses literally do all of the patient care and can procedurally walk circles around doctors. Doctors are not the bosses or superiors to nurses, they are colleagues.

NPs make about 100k how can you not afford to pay off student loans? It is very possible to pay off loans.

Lady don’t forget taxes. 100k NP salary is not much because it is about 65k after taxes so not much once you factor in essential bills.
