I used to rely heavily on Google Docs' template and just filled it in from there, but my professor has been telling the class that it's best to make our own template now in order to avoid "wonky" conversions from Google Docs to pdf to submitting it online through Canvas to the computer my professor's using... this is way easier than I thought it'd be! thank you so much

So I'm a senior in college. I've had my google account for a long time. I don't know at what point this happened but it happened before college. I just found out that my left and right margins are set to 0.6 and my top and bottom margins are set to 0.4. I have been writing all my college essays with less than one inch margins ( I went back and checked) . I am in so much disbelief right now. I have made all my essays contain way more content then what is required. None of my professors have ever pointed this out to me.
