      Hi,
Your default gateway is the IP address of the router that connects your computer to your local network. It is used to route traffic between your computer and other devices on the network, such as your printer, phone, and other computers.
You can find your default gateway by opening a command prompt and typing the following command:
      ipconfig /all
      Thanks

Default gateway is the ip address of the router where you want to send the packets when the packets destination IP address cannot exist in the device's network (when it doesn't match the subnet mask)
      For example
Say your device has ip address 192.168.1.10 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0
You have a router with ip 192.168.1.1 with same subnet mask
If you want to send a packet to a device with ip 192.168.1.5, you can send it directly because it exists in the same subnet, but if you want to send a packet to 103.153.55.2, your device will send it to the DEFAULT GATEWAY hoping that it will forward the packet to the destined ip address somehow
In this case, the default gateway can be the router 192.168.1.1
