@@Curmudgeonistic Cuz he sings in a different way while playing live, this is Matt using his "bad" singing technique, the one that blow his voice apart. He is basically taking care of his voice
This album has reignited my love for trivium I’m going to have to fan boy and learn the whole album on guitar 😂😂😂 I’m so happy there hasn’t been a band that’s made me feel like this for years 😂😂😂😂 so fed up on unchallenging pop but this is gonna be hard 😂🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Sadly I feel the same way, by far my favorite track off of the album alongside Heart and Thrown, but the powerful voice from Matt is fantastic and how it all works together is just amazing, the riffs and everything else is just icing on the cake, however due to it being a much softer track alongside Endless, Beauty, and Heart I kinda figured it would be an underrated track but I don't care I love this song to death! \m/ >.< \m/

Alex bent is the best drummer that's played with Trivium IMHO. Good and crisp double bass like you expect from a metal drummer, but the hand work sets him apart from the rest. Tasty as fuck use of every piece of his drum kit, just phenomenal.
I got some massive 40 below summer vibes in the chorus, which was unexpected. The way Matts voice sounds when he sings 'were living in other worlds' the second time around each time really sounded a lot like Max. Awesome shit!
For me, this is one of the most relevant songs that needs to be given attention. This is another factor with what makes the current version of Trivium the best so far, they did not only evolve and further mature their musical style with a lot of elements of their sound from both their shift from the old school sound of early to late 2000s era Trivium to the 2010s version of Trivium: They evolved in terms of their songwriting and lyricism which tackles even more issues that are heavily debated. From the website Genius: "“Other Worlds” is a song about disconnection and connection at the same time, in a Team Rock interview Paolo tells us that this song is about the disconnection that has been creating in this world filled with social media and the internet, people you thought you knew aren’t exactly the way they are, behind a screen, we take multiple shapes and forms.
This song is so beautiful. I can't believe how far Matt Heafy has come as a vocalist. They've captured the magic again on this album that got me into them in the first place from ascendancy era but brought the best of their newer skills too. This is crazy good music.. like every song is surprising me.
I can't really put into words why I hold this song dear, other than I found it when I needed to. The right riffs & right lyrics resonating with me at the right time. One of those hidden gems I keep tucked away in my DJ mind palace.
Actually it's so easy mate. Best song of the album is obvious. It's Beyond Oblivion... And Beauty in the Sorrow. Actually The Revanchist is amazing too. No no, Sever the Hand is best song so far. And Heart From Your Hate too. Also Endless Night.. Oh fuck that every single song is best.
This is definitely my 2nd favorite track on the album. But the whole album is fucking amazing. It's all I'm listening to in my car. It's got the really heavy tracks and also some more melodic tracks that are still very much Trivium. This album is gooood.
Someone remove the dislike bar on this video. This song is nothing BUT an EPIC masterpiece.. work of art. They better make an epic music video for this too :)
hazardoustoxicity I think he means it's the only one from the new album that's on youtube and doesn't have any dislikes on the video (at least at the time, it's got a few now lol)
Somehow Trivium manages to reinvent their sound in this album in an even more mature way then previously done, yet they still retain a lot of Trivium key elements.Beautiful melodies, clean vocals, and some harsh clean break downs. Trivium= THE GOAT!!!
Best song on the whole album, like holy shit. I didn't expect them to top The Heart From Your Hate (which everyone hated for some reason) but this....just wow
That chorus tho! That fucking chorus! The entire album is not Shogun 2.0 but Trivium's rebirth after Silence In The Snow, and holy shit what a rebirth it was!
this song got me hooked. I mean, the whole album is a masterpiece through and through, but this song is my favourite. Been with them since The Crusade/Shogun, and I must say, this is my favourite album by them so far. Every song is just perfect. I love them.
One of the best ways to end or begin a Friday night. I came from school feeling super bummed but this really lofted my spirits. Amazing album by trivium.
I feel like this song is about the Mandela Effect. These lyrics describe what I witness everyday. These tragic, hauntingly beautiful melodies and harmonies convey how I feel every single day. Such an amazing experience. We're all stronger than we can imagine. Thank you, God bless. ❤✌💪
Mind blown. Ok that's totally a great way too look at it. Here I thought it was about how a relationship drifts apart and your living different lives in different worlds and it's crumbling down... Hence the nightmare part. 🤷♂️
I just love how hard the "I can't even tell what's REAL." Vocals are it gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it. By far my favorite song off the album next to Beyond and Beauty.
guys my ears are crying in joy, seriously i have listened to many good records from good bands but this is for sure the best record i had in a long long while. this is intense especially this song.
7 ปีที่แล้ว
it has that Shogun feeling and its impossible to love it more
Matt. This song brings me to tears, from just hearing it. Your vocals slay on the album, and this track. Please. Convince the boys to play 'Other Worlds' live. Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase.
Red Pill: Always release a good album Blue Pill: Always release an album that sounds different from the other ones Trivium: *puts both pills in a blender*
Given how long this album has been out, it's astonishing for me how this song seems to have gone under the radar. Brilliant album, and I know every fan has their favorites, but fuck me this song has grown on me, and has became my favorite from this release. Would kill to hear it live or in one of Matts live streams (Either acoustic or electric)
O bom da banda é que eles não tem medo de arriscar em fazer algo diferente, desde in waves já se nota a diferença, principalmente na voz do Matt que por sinal tá ótima!
I've been a huge fan of Trivium since Shogun and oh boy... what a journey this is ! I thought that Shogun was your peak in terms of performance and songwriting, then you released In Waves which set the bar at a new height for me .And now you've released this masterpiece that combines everything that you've done , from the very start up until the last couple of records , that showed a more melodic approach! Keep on making that music please and let's hope that sometime we will be able to see you live in Greece \m/
Matt. Corey. Paolo. Keep this drummer. This fucking album is amazing. Everything.
I back this "over 9000" times.
Chase Haggenmaker: ...and one more on top from me :)
its the drummer. i always said that.
i agree
You know the album is amazing when there are people writing "my favourite song of the album" on every song
GropeMyRope1234 couldn't agree more!!!! I've been binge watching True Blood. At this time the Wretchedness Inside is on repeat most of the day lol
Agreed bro, everyone is fucking going crazy that's how good this shit is
No doubt. This album is fucking awesome.
Hey Trivium Fans! Check out my acoustic cover of this song on my channel!! Cheers!!!
u are god damn right
The drums are fucking crazy
imo, travis is nothing compared to alex
Beyomd oblivion too
Everything in that song is crazy. Total banger.
One of the best choruses I've ever heard. Absolutely phenomenal.
This one really is amazing I totally agree.
Josue Ignacio5 5
Unfortunately I don't think he can sing like that live...
@@Curmudgeonistic Cuz he sings in a different way while playing live, this is Matt using his "bad" singing technique, the one that blow his voice apart. He is basically taking care of his voice
Trivium is great at writing good choruses
Guys.... im near to tears. this whole album is a masterpiece. Thank you trivium for making this art !
Tdwhk dude when it got to the clean chorus where the music drops out i got chills
This song has the best clean vocals performance imo
I just listened to this high af taking a shower in the dark with a candle lit with a great speaker. I recommend.
The animation pieces are gorgeous.
they really are though. i love them lol
Agreed.
Soft and subtle, a perfect contrast to all that turmoil within being let out while we headbang to our hearts content!
Great for a small tattoo of your favorite/most meaningful song
Hey Trivium Fans! Check out my acoustic cover of this song on my channel!! Cheers!!!
Man, i can't get enough of those choruses. So uplifting.
i feel like this song is going to be underrated, it hurts my feelings
tsuki hime this song rocks
Sadly I feel the same way, by far my favorite track off of the album alongside Heart and Thrown, but the powerful voice from Matt is fantastic and how it all works together is just amazing, the riffs and everything else is just icing on the cake, however due to it being a much softer track alongside Endless, Beauty, and Heart I kinda figured it would be an underrated track but I don't care I love this song to death! \m/ >.< \m/
same feels
tsuki hime maybe it’s because there’s parts you don’t like, but you’re in denial about it. And you just want to justify it. Haha
no,there are other amazing songs so i felt like this one wont get noticed lol
4 years and this song is still my favorite
"Other Worlds"
We're dreaming in color
Believing no other
No other
Is there hope
To break through
All the walls
Built around you
You're like a song within a nightmare
A thought within a scream
Dim the world
A glassy stare
Face to face now
Do you even care
To try to understand
Where we went wrong
Or how it seems
We're dreaming in color
Believing no other
'Cause we're living in other worlds
Breathing in other worlds
We're dreaming in color
Believing no other
'Cause we're living in other worlds
Breathing in other worlds
Broken mast
Shipwrecked mind
Future sinks
By design
You're like a song within a nightmare
A thought within a scream
Lost our minds
Lost our way
Face to face now
Do you even care
To try to understand
Where we went wrong
Or how it seems
We're dreaming in color
Believing no other
'Cause we're living in other worlds
Breathing in other worlds
We're dreaming in color
Believing no other
'Cause we're living in other worlds
Breathing in other worlds
Someone wake me from this nightmare
I can't even tell what's real
Someone wake me from this nightmare
I can't even tell what's real
We're dreaming in color
But we're living in other worlds
Breathing in other worlds
We're dreaming in color
But we're living in other worlds
We lost our way in the other worlds
We're dreaming in color
Believing no other
'Cause we're living in other worlds
Breathing in other worlds
We're dreaming in color
Believing no other
'Cause we're living in other worlds
Breathing in other worlds
had to go really down on the comments to see the lyrics
Thank you.
thanks literly cant find the lyrics on youtube
only me think that music it's very very insane?
We're dreaming in color
Beliving no other
'Cause we're living in other worlds
Breathing in other worlds
Eargasm. Nice to see them return with an epic album.
The melodic vocals sound simply amazing!!!
What a great song. Very strong structure, very melodic, heavy as well...
Can’t believe how many times I’ve replayed this song already.
Спасибо вам, парни, за эту песню
This song fucking rules it’s my favourite on the album I can’t quite believe just how good Matt’s vocals have gotten
This album has been the greatest thing has happened this month.
Arcgrain Definitely
*year
This year, mate!
Arcgrain I'm just loving that you have Follows-Chalk as your profile picture
Gage Storto Lmao, finally someone noticed.
Alex Bent is a beast! Matts voice has grown to being an amazing instrument and the riffs are striking. Masterpiece Album! Going to buy it!
Alex bent is the best drummer that's played with Trivium IMHO. Good and crisp double bass like you expect from a metal drummer, but the hand work sets him apart from the rest. Tasty as fuck use of every piece of his drum kit, just phenomenal.
If you wonder why - Alex played in the bands Brain Drill and Rings of Saturn. Check them out, then you know, where he improved his skills
I got some massive 40 below summer vibes in the chorus, which was unexpected. The way Matts voice sounds when he sings 'were living in other worlds' the second time around each time really sounded a lot like Max. Awesome shit!
the guitar work is unreal 😭❤
The best song from the album, for sure

It's been almost 4 years. Still my most played album ever and I don't think that's ever going to change. Absolute fucking masterpiece.
This song is so beautiful. I can't believe how far Matt Heafy has come as a vocalist. They've captured the magic again on this album that got me into them in the first place from ascendancy era but brought the best of their newer skills too. I keep repeating the part at 2:50 , omg how many emotions in just a few seconds....
2:36 yes please, any day now
The sad, background guitar melody is amazing
One of my favourite trivium song 🤘
That way to sing! Thanks for this trivium! Beautiful song i'm crying 😅
Someone wake me from this nightmare! ♫ (beautiful guitars)
I can't really put into words why I hold this song dear, other than I found it when I needed to. The right riffs & right lyrics resonating with me at the right time. One of those hidden gems I keep tucked away in my DJ mind palace.
The lyrics to this song are absolutely incredible.
This album is up there with shogun for me... masterpiece
all i have to say is this is the reason i listen to trivium, the melodies, the beautiful solos and this chorus. great job!
One of the best songs on the album :D I love this one, brilliant chorus ;)
4:16 that's so beautiful...
This album came out my senior year of college, so this brings back good memories. I played this album over 1000 times easily
Very emotional. You can hear the melody in Matt's voice. Love Trivium.
Trying very hard not to write "my favorite song" in every video
Yep, I like them all.
Just write it everywhere.
Jim
write "my favourite"
that's my solution
Actually it's so easy mate. Best song of the album is obvious. It's Beyond Oblivion... And Beauty in the Sorrow. Actually The Revanchist is amazing too. No no, Sever the Hand is best song so far. And Heart From Your Hate too. Also Endless Night.. Oh fuck that every single song is best.
Goddamn it Matt's fast hammering vocals on 0:46 to 0:51, 1:46 to 1:51 are so well placed!
This is definitely my 2nd favorite track on the album. But the whole album is fucking amazing. It's all I'm listening to in my car. It's got the really heavy tracks and also some more melodic tracks that are still very much Trivium. This album is gooood.
Is first Betrayer?
Here we realize that Matt's voice has really improved, even knowing that he never disappointed on any album.
First time Trivium... loved it
dude. check out the albums ascendancy, ember to inferno, the crusade, shogun.
Sure will! loving this band :)
Welcome to the family! Listen to every album, each one is different and awesome in its own.
Someone remove the dislike bar on this video. This song is nothing BUT an EPIC masterpiece.. work of art.
They better make an epic music video for this too :)
Ramul now , you need to cover one song of this álbum (?)
Ramul This is actually the first track I've heard that has yet to get a dislike
Brian J. Why? After the mess that was Silence In The Snow this is Ascendancy - In Waves quality
hazardoustoxicity I think he means it's the only one from the new album that's on youtube and doesn't have any dislikes on the video (at least at the time, it's got a few now lol)
Ramul that'll be fucking beautiful :'v

Mind pleasing guitar solo @4:16
Raman Yadav that bass tho
2:28 brother
Very underrated song🔥
Best song on the whole album, like holy shit. I didn't expect them to top The Heart From Your Hate (which everyone hated for some reason) but this....just wow
Fuck yeah trivium is back!!
i feel ya
Back from what? They never left, you did
The chorus is so beautiful
One of the most underrated bands and they never put out a bad album. The guy can sing and but that scream on it great band.
To those people who say Trivium is underrated, DO SOMETHING. Most of my friends absolutely loved them and chances are, yours will too!
Ahad Talukder Hell yea
I have a lil cousin who doesn't even listen to heavy music, even she loves em after hearin me jammin to some of their songs!
One of my personnal favs! Thats clean singing done right mister Heafy!
That chorus tho! That fucking chorus! The entire album is not Shogun 2.0 but Trivium's rebirth after Silence In The Snow, and holy shit what a rebirth it was!
Who wants to come over and cry to this song with me?
Joe Ott im down joe! I gotchu with the tissues
Taylor Fajita bless 🙏🏿🙏🏿
Joe Ott that was a quick reply lmao 😂
Me. 😂
this song got me hooked. I mean, the whole album is a masterpiece through and through, but this song is my favourite. Been with them since The Crusade/Shogun, and I must say, this is my favourite album by them so far. Every song is just perfect. I love them.
This is the best Trivium song ever in my opinion and I was a big fan I heard all there songs. This and Sadness Will Sear are my favorites
Matt's singing in the chorus is godly
One of the best ways to end or begin a Friday night. I came from school feeling super bummed but this really lofted my spirits. Amazing album by trivium.
those drums
Kane williams I like the double kicks during the chorus!
same, the song wouldn't be the same if there was no double kicks
There's some serious shredding going on in the bridge part. During the "someone wake me from this nightmare" bit
I feel like this song is about the Mandela Effect. These lyrics describe what I witness everyday. These tragic, hauntingly beautiful melodies and harmonies convey how I feel every single day. Such an amazing experience. We're all stronger than we can imagine. Thank you, God bless. ❤✌💪

You're*
Me personal favourite from the album, the whole album is amazing but theres something about this track that keeps drawing me back to repeat it
I really like the detail that they have made a different animation for every song. Also the songs are incredible!!!! lml
I just love how hard the "I can't even tell what's REAL." Vocals are it gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it. By far my favorite song off the album next to Beyond and Beauty.
This song is amazing
It gives me chills
The best thing since metallica for me. They incorporate melody into powerful music. Inspiring, reminiscent of the 80's.
With all due respect to metallica, this is WAY better
To me their best song ever. Matt's vocals on the chorus are mind blowing.
guys my ears are crying in joy, seriously i have listened to many good records from good bands but this is for sure the best record i had in a long long while. this is intense especially this song.
it has that Shogun feeling and its impossible to love it more
One of their greatest songs
I can’t get enough of this song and the other first three tracks to this album
Éste álbum promete muchísimo. Lo espero con ansias!
I've listened to every song on the album and decided that this one is my favorite
I can now live again
This one is their most beautiful song so far..hope could get a chance to see a music video for this beautiful song one day.. :-)
Can't stop having a crush on this song beyond all others since the first listening of the whole album.
Favorite song on the album and its not even close.
Recently left a relationship . and i cant express how this album is helping me see trough this rough phase and all the mistakes. Thank u Trivium
Definitely has a bit of 'Silence in the Snow' feel to it. I really love it because it's still heavy but without the screaming (which isn't my thing).
Matt. This song brings me to tears, from just hearing it. Your vocals slay on the album, and this track. Please. Convince the boys to play 'Other Worlds' live. Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase.
I find myself repeating the chorus of this song in my head all day all the time. This song is phenomenal simply put.
One of the best rock songs ever made imo
This song still give me goosebumps.. seriously nothing else can compare. Thank you. This song gives me so much peace of mind. Calms the soul
Me and my dad crank this song we love it keep up the good work ps keep the drummer he's AMSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Red Pill: Always release a good album
Blue Pill: Always release an album that sounds different from the other ones
Trivium: *puts both pills in a blender*
The first pill doesn't exclude the second.
Some lame logic but ok lol
Mattのハイトーンボイスって初めて聴いたかも…I like this vocal
This is the best song of the whole album, I think it's becoming one of my favorite Trivium songs all up, Strife being second best.
This Shit Ripps! I Fkn Luvvit! These Guy's Fkn SHREDDIT!!! ☠💀☠
I am revisiting this album and found one the most replayed song in these days for me. :)
4:16 slightly reminds me of To Burn the Eye's ending part. But in a slower pace.
I really, really, really, hope they play this song this coming tour, it is my absolute favorite on the album!
Wooooooooooo😍😍
Excelente álbum!
Solo Rock tá muito foda mano, o melhor desde o in waves.
Greatest Trivium song thus far. An absolute Masterpiece considering my ex wife was living in another world on Instagram when I first heard this.
We need video. This is a great song. I'm enjoying your new album, but don't miss your great old songs
I've been a huge fan of Trivium since Shogun and oh boy... what a journey this is !
