I was gonna get the 500 and found the 700 and was like built in porch seems better. Thanks for the review! anyone tested it in rain? I only really camp in the spring/ summer time but when I went last year it rained horrifically and after seeing others tents flood I wanna know how well this holds up lol.
Watching your videos has made me decide to sell my Xenobia 6 and get something a tent with this kind of layout. You sold your Xenobia 8, how did you go about that? Just sold it to someone local, a recommended website or something? Also, would you consider doing a full video on your camping essentials? Many thanks.
I sold the Zenobia on Facebook, collection only so it could be inspected and cash only to avoid any scams. Yes would be happy to cover our camping essentials in another video, not sure we will get out again this year so might be next year before I can film. Thanks for watching!
Just bought this tent ex display from go outdoors bargin at £200 only been pitched up since april as well checked over no holes in it we will be absil it as well
@@monkeysmum10 with the divider taken out, it'll just fit inside and zip up still. Tested with a active era luxury king size air bed 2.03L x 1.52W x 0.56H metres
I was looking these and the 500. we ended up buying the adhara 500, we didn’t need the extra pod for us 2 and 2 small children. it was £100 cheaper over the 700. however the wife decided she wanted the porch add on after. i should have gone for the 700! it has cost the same and now we have a smaller living area. doh!
You live and learn, we bought a tent and separate porch but eventually swapped it. I do believe the add on porch is bigger than the built in one on the 700 so could be a bonus. Thanks for watching!
Hi, just used last week and noted the side door has holes in the corners for poles to lift the door up horizontally. Can you recomend any poles to buy please.? Thanks
They are very similar tents, with the Hampton 8 just being a bit bigger. For more than 4 people I would probably go with the Hampton, 4 or less and the berghaus would be my choice. Thanks for watching!
@@cyclingn8 still such a difficult decision! It will be 2 adults and 2 children. Didn’t know if the Hampton looked a slightly roomier tent but Berghaus slightly better quality. Is this a fair assumption?
Yes that’s a fair assumption, the Hampton is the bigger tent, quite a bit wider than the berghaus. In terms of quality, they likely come from the same factory (berghaus tents are produced by go outdoors as are hi gear), so not a lot of difference. The berghaus does have a higher waterproof rating though so a little more resistant to heavy rain, however I’ve never had an issue with our Hampton leaking. Hope that helps!
As I understand it Go outdoors (millets/ blacks) license the berghaus name to use on tents, so much like hi gear and eurohike tents they are basically a go outdoors own brand. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely loving this channel since i found it ❤
Glad you enjoy it and thank you for watching!
Brilliant, honest review! Thank you!!
Your welcome, thanks for watching!

Glad it was useful! Having a built in porch was a game changer for me, so think you have made the right choice. Thanks for watching!

Bargain, can’t say no at that price. Happy camping and thanks for watching!
Do you think you'd fit a king size air mattress in the bigger pod? Seriously tempted by this tent

Just bought this, will it be easy enough to put up with just 2 of us?
Yep you will be fine with two people, might be a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it it will be no problem. Thanks for watching!

We’re currently deciding between this tent and the Hampton that you own, which would you recommend more please?

Can the 2 bedrooms at the back be used as 1 big bedroom?
Yes the divider comes out if you want one big bedroom. Thanks for watching!
Has anyone used yawn air beds in the tent?
I think you would get one in the largest bedroom but not the smaller ones. Thanks for watching!
@@cyclingn8would a king size air mattress fit in the bigger pod? The one I'm looking at is 203cm x 152cm 🤞
Yes that would fit it the big pod
Are all their tents made by someone else and they just add the Berghaus branding as they don't sell them on their own website
