I'm going na street k24. You can drive/stretch it's legs more. Longevity/cost is also a plus. As you know. You don't need a lot of power in these light hondas ✌️😎
I had a 1992 Plymouth Colt hatchback that I swapped a 6 bolt 4g63t into and I've owned a few Eagle Talon Tsi AWD and I ALWAYS got rid of the balance shafts. It frees up around 10-15 HP, but if you'd like your engine to be smooth and feel more refined then I'd keep them. It's really just personal preference.
That crank walk is so common thing for Mitsubishi !!! Tristan doesn’t you dare touch the civic mate, leave it as is and build an other civic race car k20 na high rpm would’ve fully sick !!! 😜👍🇦🇺
it can't be turbo tristan if you go N/A, why don't you just turn the boost down a bit, rip out that spring and cut half a coil off it, on 6psi its still going to be strong power, power is a funny thing once you get used to it you get bored with it, once you go N/A and feel you need another 15 -20 hp here or there it going to be very hard and expensive to get compared to turning the boost up 1 psi, maybe its because i'm getting old but i hate n/a stuff, it's noisier, you have to mover you powerband higher to achieve more power and then lose bottom end and its just not as nice to drive with big cams, if it was me i'd turn down the boost and just have a button on the steering wheel for straights on the track or overtaking to a solenoid for high boost
While I 100% agree with you , I can’t get to open it up fully even on the race track, oh can use my haltech to set up traction control and limit the power and put in an lsd I could also do drive by wire and unplug the boost controller and run 8psi still makes 320hp on 8psi I have a racetrack 5 mins away from my house and I can just unbolt everything and bolt on some headers
@@TURBOTRISTO yeh fair enough, seems like it would be an easy enough change, you can always change back, I cut half a coil off my 8psi spring and can run as low as 4 if a want
Wouldn’t it just be lack of changing the oil? What is the wrong oil? The wrong weight of oil? I have never seen bearing wear because of the oil type, just the lack of oil changes.
Engine looking like new 😮
It soon will be man

That is what I am thinking too

I’ve ordered a delete kit
Nice work. Can't wait to see it get put back together
Another week or so it will be all back together
@TURBOTRISTO nice man. Keep the videos coming man. Love the content!! 🤘🤘🤘

$$$$$
Cut away from yourself not towards yourself 😮
have you seen those dry ice pressure cleaners, they can clean anything like new
I have seen them and yes I want one badly
As far as I’m aware crank walk was only an issue in the early 4G63s and Mitsubishi phased out the issue in the newer models ?
I heard the same thing
God damn that Honda makes me smile
Tis a good car
sell running gear. go k20 high revving and lsd
I think that’s the move

@929cosmodude that’s pretty awesome k series is so over engineered 4psi sounds like nothing but I recon it would still make 200kw haha
@@TURBOTRISTO crazy little engines 🤙
I say delete the balance shaft, they are just for Princess who are annoyed by NVH.
Already on their way
instead of NA why not a stupidcharger
Nah they are stupid
That bearing wear is wrong oil and no servicing. Such a shame
Well new bearings are on their way
@@TURBOTRISTO awesome love the way you put love & $ into these old cars! Awesome

@@angry9901 yes and cheap crap oil. Wrong weight you’d be surprised. Seen it a few times now. The wrong oil can do damage on top of no servicing
